However, when they realized they needed to put it on my insurance, IT TURNED OUT THE PILLS WERE FREE AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING!!!! MAN WAS I HAPPY!!! The pharmacist informed me that the pills were free because of the Affordable Care Act.

Not only that, but I have a daughter who just got out of grad school. Because of the ACA she is able to be on my insurance until she finds a job. That is a very great benefit for her.

Bottom line is that, I must really thank Obama. He has actually helped me. He actually saved me $125 today!!!

The thing is this, Obama said he wanted to do things to make a difference in the lives of middle class people like me. Man did I really feel it in my pocket. I really had not noticed it before, but Obama has made a difference! I guess this kind of thing would be meaningless to a rich person, but these things actually mean something to me.

    Way to go Barack Obama!!!!!

I still don't take back all the bad stuff I have said about him tho!!!
How should i profit? Weren't you insured before?

When she's old and sick she will be thankful of her insurance.

Because this is not a public poll the numbers are absolutely worthless.

    Yes!

I very much have along with my entire family. The costs went up a little, but pre-existing is covered, so it levies out. It still needs work though, but we'll get there if right wingers can lay off screwing over middle and lower class Americans.

    Thanks, Obama.

These are private companies " marketing " a Government created product.

ObamaCare removed the free market aspects of health insurance purchases by first mandating that you purchase a product and then removing the Insurance companies ability to cater to the specific needs of a consumer.

Its why policies are so expensive and still carry unaffordable deductibles.

Its why ObamaCare has had such and will continue to have such a major impact on our economy.

It was and will always be one of the worst pieces of legislation ever passed.

Re: Have you or a family member benefited from the Affordable Care Act?

My coverage through my employer pretty much covered everything in ACA - with exception of no copays for preventive care and the birth control issues.

The cost in coverage took a huge bump up over 10 years ago. Only minor increases since then. No increase this year in rates, but our copay did increase (5 now 10 dollars).

The big positive is that my son with pre-existing condition can stay on my plan for 6 more years. I cannot tell you what an amazing feeling that is. My worry over that issue was beyond words.
