He could have been picking them up for his wife or daughter who are covered under his plan.

My husband often picks up my scripts for me.
Our prescription insurance saves him lots of out of pocket expenses.

I'm on Lantus Solostar, 25 units per day, 1000 mg of Metformin 2 times per day. There, I just gave you personal information about me. Now, the name of your prescription is....?

That's not the information I asked you for. Again, I am willing to put my life on the line that what I said is true. Are you willing to put your life on the line that I am lying? If you did, you would be dead. And I am willing to put my life on the line that that statement is true as well.

Then why didn't he say that? And why wouldn't he say it while I was asking repeatedly? He says it's personal information to name the prescription.

This isn't a referendum on the ACA, Minnie. This is a debate board. Personal anecdotes are challenged.

I don't need to provide my social security number, etc. You told a story about a prescription. Can you please post the name of this prescription that should have cost $125 but is now free thanks to the ACA? It's easy to do and it's not personal information, as evidenced by the fact that I just posted prescriptions that I get.

If you look at the original quote he never said the pills were him.
He said he picked up birth control pills and found out that because he had insurance the pills that would have cost $125 without insurance were Free.

It was personal information. Doctors can't give such information out on patients because it is indeed personal. You gave personal information. If you want the information from me, you will have to give me the information I asked for first. You simply cannot prove that I am lying. It's just not there.

That's nice Minnie. Then maybe now that you've helped him, he'll say who the pills were, and what their name is. Some of us challenge personal anecdotes that don't have obvious truth to them, as this one does, and when someone asks a question with an easy answer the poster usually provides the easy answer.

And most posters don't demand another poster's name, address, social security number and bank information in exchange for an answer to a question that gives no personal information. Have fun covering for this one and participating in what is obviously a troll poll.

There is nothing to cover for because I am telling the truth. On the other hand you have said that I have not told the truth, and that is false. That's where this issue stands, in truth.
