Doesnt an anchor read news? Does his credibility make the news that he reads any more credible? Its not like he writes the news. He just reads what his employer tells him to read right? Maybe his employer wrote the lie that he told about Iraq.

NBC is in the hip pocket of the biggest liar to ever be president, the pig Obama. Is it any wonder that they lie too?

The decision should be made by his employers. If they think he's done a good job as an anchor, I hope they won't and that his humiliation is enough.

Save your righteous indignation for those things that are important and affect our lives. That's why so many have disdain for MSNBC and Fox. Things they say affect us. Brian Williams story does not.
Nice try, adding MSNBC to make yourself appear credible.

Are you related to Brian Williams? "Libertarian-Right".....riiiight.

Agreed. Suspend the guy for a week or even two if they have to and that would be more than fitting.

This entire things reeks of hypocrisy on the part of the right wing since they have been waiting for such an opportunity to attack the hated NBC for a very long time now. I strongly suspect that if any of the journalistic icons of the right did something like this they would be advocating the same thing.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

Not everybody sees everything through partisan-colored glasses.

That is true. In this case however, the glasses have been on and are obvious.

    Amen.

Although, you spend too much time around here, and everything is partisan. I could mention that I am enjoying a nice cold glass of orange juice, and somebody here would turn it into a partisan argument.
