I think you're buyong into the propaganda.

Hell no. I voted for McCain and Palin in 2008 and don't regret my vote at all and don't apologize for it. I really liked her.

My issue with her is the way she's handled herself since then. I think she would have been a good VP for McCain, and if doG forbid something happened to him, she would have been okay to step in to the role. She would have immediately gotten good coaches and good handlers. Left to her own devices after 2008, I think the pressure and fame just got to her. Some people get thrust into the limelight too quickly and aren't prepared, and i think that's the case with her. Plus the awful treatment she received left marks on her I think. That isn't her fault.

We are going to have to agree to disagree on that one because I do not think that president Romney would have done better than a poorly performing Obama and Palin would have been a grand disaster if she had gotten to the position of president.

Unfortumately, you don't have any facts to base your opinion on.

The awful treatment definitely left some marks on her reputation. I don't know of any politician that received that much disgraceful attention. She's been hammered so hard, that even many Conservatives believe the propaganda. I think it boils down to one thing: the Libbos won't allow the Republicans to claim the first female VP/president in history.

Well, history is on your side. They tried to beat the GOP to the punch in 1984 with Ferraro. That failed (ouch - pretty badly actually). They managed to secure the first black President (Bill Clinton aside, of course). In a perfect world, I suspect they want the first woman whatever too.

They didn't get the first black president, since Obama is only half black. Look how they treated Herman Caine. The woman that accused Caine of adultry was an acquaintance of David Axlerod. Hell of a coincidence.

He's acted fairly similarly to George Bush, so if we aren't ready for Obama, we probably aren't ready for any of the Republocrat elite.
