Fascinating intellectual pretzelfark you walked yourself into.
In the position of a pastor, yes, King most likely would have told you, you were out of line to demean another over their ability to spell.

In the eyes of a pastor, there's nothing petty about another individual demeaning another because all are created in the image of God. Now if you want me to continue this we will have to take it to the Religious Forum.

Because of who King was, what you stated earlier would not jive.

so King wouldn't criticize (whoever it was) that spelled Barak(sic) wrong, but he would criticize me for criticizing them (accordingly). Funny, he seems to endorse (per your view) ultra petty criticism as viable, but minor petty criticism as unacceptable.

Like I said, you have a fascinating world view (not that I agree with it).

As to continuing, you take it where you want. That's your failure, not mine.

Most would agree that criticizing an individual for misspelling a name is petty.
To invoke King, a pastor, as being so petty is over the top.

To understand King, you must first understand his faith. To demean another over such pettiness would be unacceptable.

No out of love he would show you the error of your ways. He would not get on a public forum and demean you. He would out of love for you, in private, urge you to let go of such pettiness. Because his faith teaches him to love all even their enemies.

Yet just a page ago you said literally--- the opposite.

Fascinating. Going out of your way to defend a guy who you now claim would flipflop on a forum to settle a score.
