This is mostly a question for conservatives, but all are welcome to participate.

No, I think she would be far worse. Similar reasons but Palin has made a hallmark of being as intentionally polarizing as she possibly can be.

Is it your intention to claim that President Obama has not done exactly that, and to a greater degree than Mrs. Palin would ever be likely to do?

Close enough, it is my suggestion that Palin would be worse than Obama with intentional polarization.

Why are we talking about this? And why is there no "I don't care?" poll option? Oh well. I guess this video should summarize my lack of damns to give.

I do not see how. The difference I see is that Mrs. Palin has been, and is likely to continue to be, much more honest about where she stands on any given issue. She doesn't come across as the sort to play Obamaesque games of pretending to want to work with the other side, while going as far out of her way as possible to propose only extreme policies that she knows very well would be completely unacceptable to those with whom she claimed to be trying to work.

Palin would likely quit halfway thought just like she did when she was Govenor of Alaska.

A chimpanzee would be a far better president than B.O.

It would be quite refreshing to have a person in the White House who honestly speaks their mind.

We don't have that with Obama...we would have that with Palin.

We are talking about this because I posted a thread about it. My interest in the question is irrelevant. The 'I don't care' option is you not participating in the thread to begin with.

Interesting that your complaint about Obama here isn't his policies or competence, but that he doesn't speak his mind.

Being a conservative, I will always prefer a conservative in the White House.

It is a no-brainer to know that Palin, with vastly more experience in similar positions, will be more competent than Obama.

But, for me, it's the character of the politician that really matters. Even if I disagree with a politician, they will have my respect if they are honest.

Sadly since I'm a woman and lean conservative the answer is still no, she would not be better on any level. As others have mentioned she is bat **** insane on this level.
I shutter at the idea that her and women like Michele Bachmann are labeled as conservative women on a media and stereotypical level. Don't get me wrong I understand that smart people don't judge groups by one part but unfortunately many people do let stereotypes over take them. Those two are stereotypes I'd never want to be associated with. Sara is probably a ok person, I like her in certain ways, she has the ability to appeal to people and rally them but a president she is not. My grandfather had this saying, something about how most people are one position to high in life and or at work. Meaning like person A was an AWESOME shift supervisor so they were naturally promoted but at the facility supervisor level they couldn't cut, they probably should have just stayed shift supervisor. I think that's what Palin is, she was a news caster and a personality that appealed locally. Then she got involved in politics and was a mayor, she had success with that size of city and even was elected to President of the state conference. Next was governor, this was probably the one position too high for her IMO but who am I. Any national position is way out of her reach. She simply needs to stay at the state, county, city level where her diarrhea of the mouth isn't that big of a deal.

No.She would quit her term because the media said mean things about her or because she wanted a book deal and tv spots. Plus if her term of governor of Alaska is any indicator she would have no problem appointing liberals to the supreme court, much like she did at the state despite saying she is pro-life she appointed an abortionist to the Alaska supreme court.
