Would Sarah Palin be a better president than Obama?[W:81]

Would Sarah Palin be a better president than Obama?

...maybe, but she is making smaller and smaller deposits at that bank. Interest in Sarah is waning. Her brand is tarnished.

Greetings, upsideguy. :2wave:

Perhaps, but it is an interesting phenomenon to observe, considering it's been years since she ran for any political office. And there are still people who will pay to hear what she has to say. Amazing...

After Iowa?

Sarah Palin 'rambles incoherently' at Iowa Freedom Summit | Daily Mail Online

I don't know. Even the Cons are running from her. Though I do love the irony of Sarah stumbling and bumbling because her teleprompter failed.

I don't follow what she does, so I didn't know she even spoke in Iowa. Seems she's staying busy after all, and apparently still making money.... she'll probably garner sympathy for the teleprompter failure, too.

If you haven't seen it yet, you should take a look at her speech. It should convince you that she will be "less busy" in the month's ahead and her trips to the bank will be less frequent. The Cons are running from her.

"It will" means it hasn't happened yet, but ...... it will.

Nah...

I don't think Palin-haters will EVER reduce the vitriol they send her way.

Greetings, F&L. :2wave:

Yep, she's got that certain something, and her timing is superb! She'll lay low for a while, but one day she reappears when things get hum-drum, and it's like a match thrown in a can of fuel. I don't know what it is, but it never fails to work, even after years of being out of any political office! And all you have to do is mention her name! Amazing... :lamo:

She's so stoopid she has them reacting like Pavlov's dogs....you could get anything past these guys when their in full Sarah mode....

I were her, I would make a run for the Democrat nomination....the heart attacks would bankrupt Obamacare

Which is why the GOP/FOX/righties have now thrown Palin under the bus .

It will. She was just so much fun for the left. The things she said were comical. We will miss her. I think the only thing the left found annoying about her was while all of us realized the emperor had no clothes, there are a surprising number on the right the failed to see it. That was a bit scary. Its good to see most of those on the right now see her for the buffoon she really is. So, on one hand, I will miss her; on the others, its great to see that America ultimately does the right thing.

You will miss her?

How many posts have you used to convince yourself you're over her....LOL..

It's not the right that constantly advertises her..it's the left

It hasn't yet.

112 and counting posts on this one thread SEVEN years she was an unsuccessful candidate for VP...

interest in her is a long way from waning....as pointed out there are four times as many active threads about a non candidate, her, than Hillary...

no sign it will soon either...but that is the new socialist talking point I guess

Regardless what the liberals/progressives/Democrats say, there is every indication of an irrational...or maybe not so irrational...fear on their part. It will never go away, either. She could disappear for 20 years, but if she came back and made a public statement of any kind, they would go ape-**** all over again. Any denial of this on their part is nothing more than them lying to themselves...and believing their own lies.

It is really quite a pathetic thing to watch...kind of like watching a train wreck. You don't want to look...but you can't look away, either.

It's too difficult to conceive of how anyone could do a worse job than the current asshole in the White House. The only thing worse than Barack Obama as far as I can tell would be a Barack Obama that kept his campaign promises.

OH, those poor CONservatives and libertardians.
Go Michelle!

Here on this board, it's cyclical and predictable. Other topics come and go, but every 3-4 weeks someone starts a Palin thread, and her detractors race to post. It's Pavlovian.

So can you give examples of prior presidents and EO's that you found acceptable?

Also, the past comparison is perfectly germane if the topic (as was raised) that Obama is terrible with use of EO --- when history indicates the alternative would be as bad or worse.
You are only counting the number of EOs. It is what B.O. is legislating, via EO, that is the problem.

Well, they can't tell her to STHU since she has freedom of speech, and she has her devoted followers, so it will be fun to see how they handle her, won't it? Oddly, I think she's enjoying herself immensely being a thorn in people's sides - and that might apply to both parties!

Incredible analysis....

Most things are in spite of what progressives say....**** many of them claim to be independent but can't list three mistakes they think Obama has made nor one good thing Bush did.

The pathos is in the depth and vehemence of the obsession. Never have I seen such hate aimed at an individual who never had a direct impact on any of them. "Slut", "Whore", and the C word have been used often, when a mention of Michelle's gangly figure and careless choice of wardrobe and there is a storm of porotest, usually using the word "racist"

It is rabid.

And because of that frightening. I have been a reporter and seen mobs form and become riots, and the hate exhibited toward her is the exact same I have seen there...a completely irrational, reptilian, 'food = eat. not food = kill response to the fact her kids showed up at a party.

That kind of fear is in itself firghtening

An equally incredible analysis from you - you and Mycroft are on a roll today! What exactly is it about her that generates this type of response? The fact that she handles a gun well and likes the outdoor life? That can't be it because policewomen do the same. The fact that she's sexy? There are many sexy women in this world. The interesting thing is that both men and women share the same dislike of her, so it can't be just female jealousy. The fact that she was the successful governor of the largest state in the US, and was well liked by her constituents? Maybe. I have pondered on this for a long time, and I can't figure it out. Disgust with her butchering the language and sometimes rambling when she speaks I could understand, but why do they seem to fear her? What's your take?

Do you have something more recent than this?
Palin

It's little different that the level of hatred exhibited by many towards Obama. I don't really understand it either.

Every politician has their share of haters, it's the degree of hate that is unusual in the case of Palin and Obama, but I also see some of the same directed towards Hillary, with many people saying that they find her "disgusting" (in every way, politically and physically).

I'm not seeing that level of hate directed towards ANY white male politician, so I can only assume that it's some latent or outright racism and sexism.

Those on the right keep shouting that Obama has divided the country more than it's ever been divided, but I can't help to wonder if it's not racism which has caused this, much more than any of the Obama policies.
