l was watching a tv serial having such a theme and it made me wonder your thoughts about it. ( the scenario may consist of you (for women ),your sister, wife etc and you learn this event after it happens.

thanks for voting.
Someone who raped someone close to me and then approached me With a bribe you never have to worry about ever going to trial, if yu get my drift

If I was a third party and was offered money, I would take the money. Jokes on them, I don't care to begin with lol.

If I was the one that was raped, I would still take the money. Then when the person thought they were safe I would go back and brutally rape them. **** would be so cash.

... privately mediated financial compensation for crimes between the criminal and the victim is an underrated mechanism for achieving justice. I wouldn't necessarily encourage or approve of a woman accepting it depending on the context, but as solutions to being wronged go its worth considering.

Thing is, our justice system generally allows the victim to have both jail time for the perp and generous financial recompense ... although I suppose there is no guarantee of victory.

It would depend on how much money it was, but for enough money I'd stay quiet about it. It would have to be a lot of money though.

I mean heck, if I had enough money, I could easily hire someone to go kill the rapist and make it look like an accident. I could have my cake and eat it too.

If it is the rapist bribing me then the answer is no.If it is the victim bribing me then the answer depends on how long ago it happened and or how compelling of a case the victim is making for me to not say anything.

I don't consider myself as the victim type and I have to look at myself in the mirror. Given the change the guy might do it to someone else, I'd nail the bastard any way I could, starting with not compromising whatever evidence there is.

Hey, there is an idea. Take the money, have your appearance cosmetically altered, then hit on him at a bar, take him home and shorten him a few inches. That would work.

Would I keep silent regarding someone else's rape for money? No.

Would I keep silent regarding my own rape for money? If I was poor and there was little to no chance of a conviction occurring, maybe. If the accusation would destroy my life because he was a man of power and influence and nobody would believe me, maybe.

What "TV serial" were you watching?? I wouldn't take the bribe and I wouldn't tell my husband. He would kill him, and I don't say that jokingly.
