Debate Politics change in political lean?

When filling out my Bio, I wanted to list my accurate political lean. I am not slightly conservative, but I am more Republican than a centrist. Political tests put me at "right-leaning centrist". However, my right-leaning views aren't really conservative, more general Republicanism. I'm a social liberal too.

What do you guys think? Could we add the choice "slightly Republican"?

I always struggle with my "lean". I feel your pain.

    I'm fiscally very conservative.
    I'm socially moderate.
I mostly vote for the Republican candidate.
I often vote for the Democratic candidate.
I sometimes vote for the Libertarian candidate.

    I'm a mess.

This thread would probably be better placed in the "Feedback" section since this would be a moderator decision.

Considering the Republican party shares very little with actual conservatism I don't think it's that bad of an idea to add the category. "Corporate Crony" would also fit the description.

I'm not sur political parties should be considered leans. That said, I think it should be a text field where people can type what they want.

I put it here because of the option to have a poll.

Thank you for your reply. It's hard being politically-scattered, aint it :-)

Good point. I revert to my previous statement about my actual lean. I lean somewhat toward traditional Republicanism, rather than the ideals of conservatism.

I'd also like to see that but I know it just isn't possible. I guess the "other" field is supposed to be all encompassing and anything that isn't a choice there today.

Are you sure you didn't mean, "It's Electric"?
