Puppy mills are disgusting and lead to the euthanasia of thousands of innocent dogs.

THe ad was a parody of the Budweiser ad from last year. Not to be taken serious. After all Go Daddy did showcase boobs in their ads in days past.

They'll take the dogs to these little rodeo things where they have to pretend to herd sheep, follow instructions and look pretty. Beyond that I really don't know much about how it all works but the dogs sure seem to be more pampered than anything else.
Most people don't know about it. And it may be in the case of your cousins they are reputable breeders and follow the right procedures when they sell their puppies. Just because the initial contact comes to them via the internet isn't the same thing as selling them over the internet. It's the ones who sell them over the internet that are bad breeders.

I've seen too many mills, back yard breeders, and other idiots. The sights and smells and horror will stay with me forever which is why I'm very sensitive to the subject. I do applaud GoDaddy for listening to the comments.

Way over reaction. Its an add about a dog who doesn't want to leave..

that's all. There's no "rescue" needed here. there is no cause to think anyone is going to put a puppy in harms way....

    FFS censorship over fiction.
Thanks for sharing. But selling dogs over the internet isn't fiction and it isn't good. Even GoDaddy recognized that and that's why they pulled the ad.

Sadly, euthanasia is actually the best and only good thing that happens to thousands of puppy mill dogs.

AKC is a meaningless designation. It doesn't regulate the safety and security of puppies nor the safety of the breeding stock. Any purebred can get an AKC registration.
    What's a "puppy mill?"

There's a few pictures of mills.

Here are some pictures of dogs saved from mills.

    You get the idea.

This offends SO many Americans that they pulled it?

It is offensive to put a puppy up for sale on the internet?

Jeez, I thought they were going to throw the puppy in a microwave and eat it for supper the way people were reacting to it.

I didn't think it was hilarious...but offensive? Giver me a break. It's an ad for the Super Bowl, not Sesame Street.

Too many Americans are so bloody touchy with NO sense of humor.

And I guarantee you that most people that are offended by this are not even going to watch the Super Bowl.

If anything can be learned from this ad is please, don't buy puppies or dogs from a breeder, get them from a shelter, please adopt. That is the best thing to do to fight this problem. Make this business non-profitable and they will go away.
