I will be voting for Gary Johnson again next year unless either Bernie Sanders or Jim Webb snag the Democratic nomination.

Perhaps a Michael Bloomberg or a Sarah Palin could garner the public interest and attention to have an impact as an independent or third party candidate. 90% of America or more haven't a clue who Gary Johnson is. That's reality.
There is also Rand Paul who will ride the curtails of his daddy's followers and some others who think he sounds good. Seriously he hasn't got a shot. Plus Rand's ego is so big, I'm not so sure, he will submit just so Gary Johnson can "have his shot."

If he were able to pull 5% of the vote, he could be taken seriously. No...he isnt going to win. But it would definitely shake up the two major parties...especially the one that lost the most votes to him.
    How so?

I wasn't asking for snide comments about how he has no chance. You can feel free to let me know that's why you won't vote for him, but the whole "Lol I'm gonna bookmark this so that I can see I was right later" and such really wasn't necessary.

No, but I will sell his buttons/stickers/shirts/etc
I don't have proof for any of this, but you have to wonder.

It was to further highlight the fact that he has no chance. Just in case people start getting butt hurt about the fact that I'm not voting for Gary Johnson. I would be able to go back to this thread and show them that they wasted their vote. It's pretty common knowledge in the political world. But whatever... Feel free to be naive. We as a nation should be very cautious about that type of stuff in the future. Looks like some people don't learn lessons from the past 6 years...

Rand Paul has a decent, but long shot at the Republican nomination and I'm not aware that he'll be dropping his Republican Party membership to run as an independent or Libertarian. If he does, he could very well be the 2016 version of Ross Perot, handing the election to Hillary Clinton.

There's a better chance of me voting Green, but I do admit the LP is our best chance of getting a third party somewhat mainstream in our lifetime. So for that reason, I would consider it. He is a decent candidate. Disagreeable on economics and the environment, but leaps and bounds better than most other choices in regards to civil reform and foreign policy. And not nearly as kooky as I've found many "big L" Libertarians to be.

    Tl;dr: It's a toss-up for me.
