Some of them want to kill you. Some of them don't. It's the same reason that we should put American Christians and just Christians in general under scrutiny.
Nope we should not. We should not implement laws or polices that specifically target American Christians and just Christians in general.. Targeting all these people because of the actions of a few is not only wrong but unconstitutional to solely based it off religion.
We should treat Muslims that want to kill us the same way that we treat Christians who want to kill us. Wouldn't you agree?
Which would be???

Shouldn't we treat Muslims the same way that we treat Christians?
Yup. But im not promoting new laws to target Christians just because they are Christian.

Many conservatives I know are all for camps like the Japanese in WWII.

Hell, I've been told on this board the attacks are the fault of liberals because they let Muslims into the country.

I'm just saying that we should treat them all the same. Anybody who wants to kill me should be treated fairly and justly regardless of their religion. We should be kind, compassionate and caring to all people regardless of their motivations.

Neither Islam nor American is a race, let's drop this absurd "racial profiling" nonsense. That said, should we take a look at Muslims, American or otherwise, a little more closely? Absolutely. That's where the problem worldwide is. You don't find a lot of Jainist suicide bombers. You have to acknowledge that some groups of people are more likely to commit some crimes. You look more at men as serial killers than women, simply because there are more male serial killers than female serial killers. It only makes sense to spend a little more time looking at specific demographics which are more likely to commit certain crimes. That doesn't mean you stop looking at everyone, but it makes no sense to say a 96-year old woman in a wheelchair is just as likely to be a mad dog mass killer as a physically fit 22-year old man with a history of mental problems.

I also am bitterly opposed to bigotry, and i am worried that attacks like the one on Charlie Hebdo fuel feelings of islamophobia.

Then maybe they shouldn't perform attacks like the one on Charlie Hebdo?
