I don't believe this moron for a second, okay? There will be no meaningful tax cuts, no one in the middle class will feel any relief. That's just a token he's throwing in to get what he really wants, a tax increase. He has no desire to cut taxes at all. What's our debt, $18,000,000,000,000? LOL! Is it because the government hasn't confiscated enough of our earnings? Nope. Maybe they are spending just a tad too much. And what has he done there? Pedal to the metal, and pile on new debt.

You're statement about how someone with 300K has only 50K after taxes and paying for Ivy League tuitions shows no realization of reality for the most people. What are you going to tell someone who only makes 50K in the first place about your plan. Or better yet, tell someone who only makes 20K that you want to raise taxes on them so that you can have more spending money.

Is your anecdote about 300K a year personal? Because in that case the government is only taxing 1/6 of your income.

I'm in favor of increasing taxes on capital gains and inheritances, but I think the added revenue should go towards paying down the national debt, not towards giving out tax cuts to some people.
