Walker's my favorite but I could vote for any of them in the primaries after you carve out the moderate circle and the Christian conservative circle. In the general though I'll vote for whoever the nominee happens to be.

As of now Walker.
,He's: run a government unlike the zillion senators that seem to be running!!:twocents:

That's mine as well. He also ran it effectively, winning multiple elections in a purple state while taking on difficult structural reforms.

Re: Where does your GOP Candidate fit on the spectrum?

I'm firmly planted in the establishment-moderate camp and would vote for many of the names (not all) listed in the establishment circle such with the opportunity. It seems that the further south the candidate appears on the sheet, the more likely I am to not support them.

OK....I have to ask because DP is full of them: Are you really a "Libertarian" or just a Republican who is ashamed to say they are Republican?

A nice representation of the GOP potential presidential field, with graphic placement of each candidate and where they fit within the five ring GOP circus. I think this is a nice, accurate representation of where these candidates stand in the spectrum.

Where's your favorite candidate?

To get me to vote GOP again, it would have to be someone to the Northwest of Paul.

Moderate and Establishment. Anything else and I'm probably voting Hillary given our crop of candidates.

Re: Where does your GOP Candidate fit on the spectrum?

Rand isn't even a true libertarian. He's a tea partier with a Libertarian father.

Re: Where does your GOP Candidate fit on the spectrum?

Paul is the only one I would even consider voting for, and that's only in the farfetched case of a terrible Democratic nominee like Cuomo or Manchin and the lack of a decent third party candidate. My answer is Option 7, with Option 5 in rare circumstances.

Re: Where does your GOP Candidate fit on the spectrum?

Meh, Rand Paul is the only one out of the list I would even halfway somewhat possibly consider. Which says alot about the others because he's a total nutter that wants to abolish the civil rights act and thinks abortion is bringing about the end of civilization.

Wrong. He wants to repeal two titles of the law. The remainder of the law would remain untouched if he got his way.

If a libertarian ran that I thought could win and not just throw the thing to the Democrats, I'd vote Libertarian. That hasn't happened yet. I vote Democrat some of the time here in Hawaii because that's the only thing that ever gets elected and I might as well choose the least evil. I can't conform to all of the Republican platform (e.g. every sperm is sacred, some other social issues) but I'm stronger on defense than most libertarians. Cut regulations, cut taxes, and stop the war on drugs. So... am I libertarian enough for you? :)
