While looking on Breitbart's website, I stumbled across this

Female-senators-demand-nfl-institute-zero-tolerance-policy-for-domestic-violence

Do you think those 14 Democratic senators will demand a zero tolerance policy for Dershowitz's behavior? Or will double standards make them biased towards a prominent liberal Jewish lawyer?

What does a lawyer have to do with the NFL? If I understand this, the senators wrote a letter to the NFL asking for zero tolerance. They did not write a letter to the ABA or some other lawyer organization. I take it Dershowitz does not play in the NFL, so does he represent some NFL players? The NFL owners? What is his connection with the NFL that these senators should become outraged at?

So you admit that your OP was under false pretenses, and this accusation against Dershowitz in no way compares to the accusations against Rice.

No I don't. And now I know where you are coming from. You are a sophist.

The Democratic Senators in your opinion should now raise a public outcry against every person in this country who is being sued and has not been suspended from his/her job (which is what the case with Dershowitz is). Okay, contact them, and let me know how you make out and if you can get them to do that. Good luck!

I see that you distorted my position and did not answer the question. I thought differently of you. Good luck to you madame.

So you say that there needs to be a connection between the NFL and Dershowitz for those Democratic senators to raise an outcry?

They could if they wanted, but it was the NFL they were concerned with. It was the NFL that held their attention not some lawyer or Joe Blow from Po Dunk. The letter was just for political face time in my opinion anyway. Showing their constituents that they care about domestic abuse. They sent their letter, got their names on the news and the went back to their business as usual probably forgetting all about the letter since they got their face time.

The NFL should suspend Alan Dershowitz immediately.

Okay maybe if my posts are as clueless as yours, you'll understand. So let me try again.

1. There are no charges against Dershowitz of domestic violence or any other legal malfeasant
2. You want the Democratic Senators to weigh in on this situation as they did on entirely unrelated situations involving NFL players who were arrested for suspected criminal activity
3. The Democratic Senators aren't obligated to comment on pending lawsuits
4. Your posts are desperate and pathetic

The NFL should suspend Alan Dershowitz immediately.

With or without pay?

I think they should not only suspend him immediately, they should make it so that he never gets voted into the Hall of Fame either. I wonder if he would be the first Jewish player with a bust in Canton?

That is stating the obvious.

That is also stating the obvious.

There is probably some truth to that. However seeing that is was all females, there may have been some genuine concern.

Ah! The things I learn on here. This reminds me of that great scene in Airplane where the passenger asked for some light reading and the stewardess handed her the leaflet "Famous Jewish Athletes".

A funny, but misleading moment. One I often thought of watching Jay Fiedler play. You could easily write a whole leaflet about Hank Greenberg's baseball career too.

I had an argument with someone when I lived in Cincinnati in the 1980s, a Bengals fan (I liked him in spite of that). He insisted that Bernie Kosar was Jewish. I mean, INSISTED, even though Bernie was part of the Christian College Players coalition (or some such similar group). I think it was the curly brown hair and prominent breathing utensil that did it.

I'm pretty certain we already have zero tolerance rape laws. Are you saying we don't?

No that is not what I am saying. What I am asking is whether or not Democratic senators will raise an outcry if a prominent, liberal, Jewish lawyer is found to have had sex with underage females.

Someone mentioned Bernie in the comments on the link I used. The author basically said, "Great player, but not Jewish."

Why do I feel like this is turning into Adam Sandler's "Hannukah Song?"

So drink your gin and tonica,
And smoke your marijuanaka!

This is from the court papers. She says it happened multiple times with Dershowitz. Not only that, be he witnessed it.

"Epstein required Jane Doe #3 to have sexual relations with Dershowitz on numerous occasions while she was a minor, not only in Florida but also on private planes, in New York, in New Mexico and the U.S. Virgin Islands,"

"Dershowitz was an eye-witness to the sexual abuse of many other minors by Epstein and several of Epstein's co-conspirators."

Wow! An eyewitness to the sexual abuse of many other minors.

It appears that Mr Dershowitz does not tolerate double standards well. Check this out:

Alan Dershowitz, one of the nation’s premier defense lawyers and a Harvard law professor, believes universities display a double standard in excusing violence from the political left, and failing to punish activities like a fraternity house attack can have dangerous consequences.

“Look at people like [Bill] Ayers and [Bernardine] Dohrn who were violent radicals in the 1970s who now hold distinguished positions of respect [at universities]. It’s clearly a left-right issue. No one would reward the Ku Klux Klan decades after their acts of violence, but if violence is committed by the hard left, then it becomes acceptable in the academic context,” Mr. Dershowitz told The Washington Times.

He does not appear to have a problem linking Bill Ayers with the KKK.

That is how right wing rags roll in regards to the Clintons. They will throw the Clinton's in with any scandal no matter how tenuous the association is. You have to remember that this same bunch accused the president of being a murderer and a coke dealer back in the 90s.

Does the name Jeffrey Epstein ring a bell with you? Epstein and ties to the Democratic party go way back as a man with very deep pockets. In June 2008, after pleading to a single state charge of soliciting prostitution, Epstein began serving an 18 month sentence. He served 13 months in jail of his 18 month sentence for soliciting an underage girl for prostitution. He is a registered sex offender. The Palm Beach police department had a lot of evidence on Epstein's sex slave operation. It was a mother of a 14 year old girl that had been solicited by another women to come to Epstein's mansion. She fled the place wearing only her underwear. The mother went to the police. They had Epstein under surveillance for months before they arrested him. During the trial Clinton's name and his relationship with Epstein were brought into evidence through the numerous phone numbers for Clinton found in Epstein's phonebook. It was also well documented the number of times Clinton flew on Epstein's private jet to several locations from Epstein's private Caribbean island to his Palm Beach mansion.
Part of Epstein's plea agreement to one charge was that all the names of "his friends" would not be made public. But even after Epstein's conviction, the civil cases mounted and the names of "his friends" continued to be part of the court transcripts. So far Epstein has made 17 out-of-court settlements and some are still ongoing. After Epstein's arrest and conviction, several powerful figures including Clinton distanced himself from Epstein but not Prince Andrew. Not too long ago he was photographed on Epstein's yacht off the coast of Turkey sunbathing surrounded by young topless women.

So to say that it is a "right-wing rag" that is trying to connect Clinton to this whole ordeal is just not true. The connection Clinton had to Epstein and his many travels with him were made known years ago in court documents. This latest suit filed drops the same names that have been dropped before. I read that photographs keep surfacing of these girls while at Epstein's compounds with very powerful male guests present. I wonder what kind of evidence the latest Ms. Doe has........stay tuned.

Given there is evidence he was there, I suppose he was just watching or sunbathing. ;)

That was Ted Kennedy's excuse at his nephew's rape trial. Always worked for him.

I have a correction to make. On the above statement in bold print. It was a 14 year old girl that was solicited by another woman to come to the Epstein mansion. She is the one that fled the mansion in her underwear. It was her mother that went to the police which resulted in months of surveillance of the Epstein mansion collecting evidence.

No that is not what I am saying.
Then why did you ask if they would demand something we already have? If you agree we already have a zero tolerance policy towards rape, why would you ask if people would demand one?

What I am asking is whether or not Democratic senators will raise an outcry if a prominent, liberal, Jewish lawyer is found to have had sex with underage females.
Oh, I see...you're engaging in stupid partisanship. In other words, you don't care at all about the fact a young woman might have been raped, you just wanted to attack Democrats/liberals, regardless of how utterly stupid it sounded.

Got it. Carry on.

Not just any democrat/liberal, but Jewish ones. This is the third thread he has made on this, and any time he mentions him, he specifies that he is Jewish. Apparently that is important.

I don't think he meant to attack Democrats. You have to understand his posts/threads on this same issue the last week. The posts are all the same:

Alan Dershowitz is white and Jewish
Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson are black
Rice and Peterson were suspended because they're black
Dershowitz gets a pass because he's white (and Jewish, which he also seldom forgets to mention in his posts)

This (latest) failed effort on the OP's part was yet another angle he wants us to consider. That's because his first few attempts failed.
