Sarah Palin - Fly in the ointment?

Sarah Palin - Fly in the ointment?
Will she be a fly in the ointment, disruptive to the party, during the Republican Presidential nomination?
    What do you think?

Sarah Palin is irrelevant at this stage in regards to who is chosen as the Republican nominee in 2016. She remains a colourful character and she remains a pain in the side of liberal elites who despise her, which means she'll continue to be quotable and a sought after pundit by the networks. But her involvement in the convention and the lead up to it will be limited to her being a keynote speaker on one of the nights, similar to Teddy Kennedy, rest his soul, on the Democrat side - someone who can give a good speech and fire up the audience, but totally out of the decision making process.

I don't think she has the significance to be a fly in the ointment. Nothing against her personally- I just don't see her as a serious player.

I haven't been hearing much about her, so I'm really not sure anymore. I know that she had tea party support back in 08.

Anyone who has participated in a National election will have retained some part of the organizational base that made their run possible. Therefore, although I don't think Palin will have significant effect, a marginal impact is realistic. They love her on gov't's MSM and she keeps her foot in her mouth enough for good coverage, so she'll turn a tidy profit on the Convention and campaign, but will not be an independent factor.

I don't she her playing a major role in the selection of the GOP's next presidential candidate but she will have some influence.

    She's hard to ignore.

I don't disagree with that, but she does have enough of a following... God knows why, but she does... that she can be a distraction away from better and/or serious candidates.
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

She can play a like minded crowd quite well. Myself, personal opinion is why she can get away with it.
Why she was picked as VP material, well that was scary.
