That post was a direct response to someone who claimed it was a struggle to find six lies from Obama, in general. Simply not true.

I don't care, and your still not answering the question. Would you like to for the record?
There's no greater irony than a Trump supporter pointing out hypocrisy; Unless it's Trump himself.

Why would I read a book by Obama? What possible benefit could it have? I've never read The Communist Manifesto either.

I haven't read it, but I have seen the book. Would you recommend it? Is it a good read, interesting, revealing, or is boring and bland?

So have you actually read it cover to cover? Not just what you've heard about it on Fox News blurbs?

EDIT: For some reason this didn't take me to the poll section...

I have never read a book by a politician, but presidential candidates always write one. I am considering reading them in the future, as a way to learn more about both candidates, their lives, and their beliefs. I think it's good to be informed about who are voting for...

It is good to be informed about who we vote for. That doesn't mean we need to read their crappy books. Reading someone's autobiography may not be the best way to learn the truth.

I don't read books written by famous people - because the odds are strong that they didn't actually write it.

I will read reputable biographies though.

I know it may not be the best way, but it could be very informative. It is supposed be their own words of course, so that is important. Recently I came up with this idea, and think I should try at least once and see how it goes. I think that maybe, the books will be extremely boring...

My sister owns the book and offered it to me to read. She received the book when she met him in Springfield Illinois. I declined her offer to borrow it.

When he was the senator of Illinois I remember his voting record and how little he did for this state. I have no use for him or his book. I am not interested in any stories about his father or his history. Most politicians are pretty un interesting to me.

If it's helps, I have also never read any books on Bush.

I've read it and it was a pretty self-serving work. Lot's of self-aggrandizement.
Our nation has not always lived up to its ideals, yet those ideals have never ceased to guide us. They expose our flaws, and lead us to mend them. We are the beneficiaries of the work of the generations before us and it is each generation's responsibility to continue that work. - Laura Bush
