I have an answer for everything...you may not like the answer or it may not satisfy your curiosity..but it will still be an answer. ~ Kal'Stang
My mind and my heart are saying I'm in my twenties. My body is pointing at my mind and heart and laughing its ass off. ~ Kal'Stang
I can't speak for you or yours, but me and mine are safer with guns.
My extended family includes 20 people at present. Neither I, nor they, nor any of my known ancestors for the past 100 years, have ever had a serious accident with a firearm involving personal injury, nor have any of the above committed suicide by firearm, nor murder.
We have, however, had several incidents which might well have ended badly had we not been armed.
Therefore our family stats for 100 years would be:
Negative incidents: 0
Positive incidents: 7 I recall offhand.
So our ratio is positive 100%, or 7 to None.
I imagine it helps that my family has almost universally taught gun safety and shooting from an early age.

-Young people don't own guns save for rural areas which have low population. The younger generations are almost all staunchly anti-gun, of all races.
-Women are almost all anti-gun.
I come from a big US hunting family with tons of young relatives. NONE of them or us hunt. It's only the older generations that do/did.
what we do know-there is a huge ammo shortage even though the production of ammo and reloading components is at an all time high
what we do know is that firearms courses tend to sell out much faster than they did 10 years ago, and gun clubs-that never had wait lists for potential members now have often several year waits
women are the fastest group of growing gun owners. My wife often serves as an Range Officer for women only events at a local range-its packed
the training facility that I have been associated with since 1986 has far more women attending now than when I first started
most younger generations that are anti gun are ignorant. once they gain knowledge they are not anti gun
more and more people are carrying guns. when I first started carrying a gun, (1982) most states did not have shall issue CCW
now most do
most of us don't tell anonymous callers if we own guns
so what causes your silly anti gun nonsense? is it due to your age?
