Fair statement, I guess. I find it frustrating though that polemics cloud the core issues at the heart of the protests, as I believe they're incredibly important.

I agree they really should shut down city government and let people live as they want to. The people of NYC don't need any laws or government telling them what they may and may not do. They can take care of themselves just fine.

As long as they build a tall wall lined with machines gunners to keep them in there happily living their lives I'm fine with that.

And I don't. The incidents they are protesting are poor examples of police misconduct. That is to say they either weren't misconduct at all or the system for addressing misconduct worked as it should.

Traffic lights, stop signs, speed limits, and pedestrian crossings are all just a bunch of BS. Eliminate all that, eliminate those laws, and lay-off all those police. Close those courts. People don't need to be told how to drive. Lower taxes. Problem solved.

Yea, there you go - it's OK to stoop to another's level just for spite.

Quite a selfish and childish response.

Fire all of them and replace them with folks who actually want to work.

But that, if it were at all possible in reality, would only result in riots and more chants of No Justice No Peace. The whole shtick of the protesters is that they don't want laws enforced. You know your new police department would still be shutting down and arresting the loosie dealers, right? They wouldn't allow you to drink in public or pull off strongarm robberies.

Most of them want to work. Most of them arent killer cops. There is no evidence Ramos and Liu were anything but good men...good human beings, and good cops. They were executed because a ****head mayor and a bunch of ****head race baiting assholes have stirred up a nationwide cop hating frenzy. And since that is the climate created by the race baiting ****heads, its probably wise that law enforcement is taking a bit of a step back for the moment.

If that is how the system is intended to work, then protests are definitely needed. That's a corrupt system.

Exactly! I mean, this response is totally reasonable and is no means hyperbole. So let's do it!
