Saying Happy Holidays (which is actually more accurate) removes Christ from Christmas and is seen as an insult by some Christians.

Political correctness means behaving in a way which is pleasing to the majority of people. More precisely, it involves behaving in a way which doesn't offend large groups of people. As the majority of people in this country are Christian, the politically correct action to take would be to celebrate Christmas in the way they want it celebrated. Refusing to abide by the norms the majority of the country has set when it comes to Christmas is the politically incorrect thing to do.
I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. - MLK

But of course, with a name like that.

I agree with your conclusion but not the premise, PC is about censorship to impede honest discussion, its a means to an end. If the majority decided its cool to offend a small group would you be cool with that?

PC is used against a majority all the time.

What's that diagram? If you are Christian or not Christian and someone says "Merry Christmas," you say "Thank you, you too." If they say "Happy Holidays," you say "Thank you, you too."

No need to be an uptight ass about it.

Oh Bull****. If someone is nice enough to wish you "Merry Christmas," "Happy Holidays," or even "Happy Kwanzaa," just thank them for the well wishes and wish them the same. Otherwise you're just being an uptight ass.

Not necessarily, my mother had a friend from her school days named Stein. Relatively good Catholic - not the most devout person you'll meet, but not Jewish.

Bruce Springsteen isn't Jewish either, for the record.

Good rebuttal. A lot of thought put into that one. "Leftys hate Christmas". Do you have any critical thinking skills?
