    An ancient religious holy day that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ is almost entirely secular? I think you might be projecting what you'd like to be the case. Either way, its a bit ironic.

    Well to be fair, the original holiday was a Pagan celebration. So this could be seen as just more change of the holiday as mankind moves along in time.

    This is a good point but I think its also important just how susceptible many in the anti-religion crowd are. This is much of the group who watches Colbert report between dancing with the stars reruns and thinks they are well informed.

    I've had to explain to several liberals recently that events can happen without being included in the local paper or news segment. Some even argue with me.
