Personally I always say Merry Christmas - more out of habit than anything else, but it doesn't bother me when someone uses one of the more secular greetings either.
Once it became non-PC to wish someone a Merry Christmas (despite its prevalence in a nation thats overwhelmingly Christian) Happy Holidays became more widely used. Its even worse now, retailers will show presents and snow but some dont even say happy holidays. Its amusing, to watch all the dancing around what is plainly Christmas.

You are absolutely right, a company has every right to their company policy, and I have every right to shop elsewhere. No hard feelings.

It does seem like some people are just waiting around for the next thing to be insulted by.

That brings up a good point, I wish my black friends and coworkers Merry Christmas all the time, and then with a quizzical look I say kinda say/ask "and Kwanza?". Nobody was butthurt over it, but I always wonder if Kwanza is widely celebrated or not.

What you see as whining they see as a joyous part of their lives being removed from public view. And we know those businesses are responding to liberals who complain.

Is that point good enough for you?
Yes, companies can do whatever they want. Including Walmart enforcing a dress code. See how that works? No? Didn't think so.

You did not-right around the time you stated that despite being a marxist-atheist you celebrated Christmas. You are welcome.
