Jeb or Hillary for president in 2016?

Jeb or Hillary for president in 2016?

  • Total voters
    50
Not particularly regarding his domestic policies but overall I can't deny he was the best option in 1932, 36, and 40.

Yes, you are definitely "very conservative." :lamo

Well it looks like they are both running and if they both get t heir party's nomination who do you vote for?

Screwed up on the poll question......To much Christmas punch..........Can any Mod help and make the correction?

Thank you

Where's the move to Siberia option?

Hillary but only because I dread going to back to the days of a boring old fat white man in the white house. The news, the country, the everything is more interesting when a black or a woman is in the white house even if they are just as much puppets as the fat white guy.

At least with the raging woman Hillary we will get some fireworks. With Jeb Bush we'll get America pushed further and further into a "Mestizo Corporate Class Based Mexico-Esq Country" and I'd never ever vote for that. I'll ally with the blacks, Asians and other progressive whites over the corporate oligarchical mafia of Jeb Bush and the modern day GOP. At least the Democratic factions are real Americans that don't want to turn the country into another Mexico.

NICE way to put it!

After 8 years of Hillary this country might not exist any more.

And 8 years of Jeb Bush and his Mexican National mafia friends is going to be good for the white man? Good for the black man? Good for who? Them? They hate you. Wake up. Jeb Bush hates you and the people he represents loathe everything that America is. They're the worst order of nepotistic Catholic Southern American oligarchical faction. They hate you.

Jeb or Hillary for president in 2016?

None of the above

Navy, you seem to have bought into the grand scheme of corpgov. America doesn't need any more political dynasties.

What you are asking is tantamount to trying to put one smoking turd in my left hand and another smoking turd in my right hand. Apparently you are fine with that. My answer is "Stop trying to put turds in my hands."

How do you like the "turd" in your hand now?

When is the last time a third party member became POTUS?

In the understood contest between Party A, B, and C, they would be 0-44.

And some people say no vote is wasted.

If you want to be the spoil vote in a close election between Party A and B to spite your more natural partner, then you may want to vote for the third party. If you want to influence policy, you better hope you get quite a bit more than 9%.

That being said, your more-likely opponent thanks you kindly more often than not.

I refuse(d) to hold out my hand. I won't play that game. I didn't vote for Obama nor did I vote for Romney and I didn't vote for Obama or Bush before that. I damned sure ain't going to vote for Bush or Clinton. No way, never happen.

Conservatives will sit-it-out due to Jeb Bush being to the LEFT of President Obama on immigration, with Jeb Bush's stance that children who are illegal immigrants should be given US citizenship, where Obama's actions only are not to deport them.

Some of the religious right will sit it out due to Jeb Bush's support of Common Core - federally required testing and federally required text books, which include teaching children to be submissive to government, that individual rights must be sacrificed for the good of the whole, advocacy of gay rights thru the school system, that climate change is a man-made crisis and other humanists agendas.

He would lose core support among Republican diehards on the right that no other Republican would. Republicans would have to try hard to find a worse general election candidate.

This is the dumbest set of arguments possible.

The education accountability movement was practically a Republican creation, starting with Reagan and his Department of Education. It was they (under Terrel Bell) who created A Nation At Risk, remember? National education standards and benchmark accountability came from the National Endowment of the Humanities (which was led by both William Bennett and Lynne Cheney), President George H.W. Bush, and (once again) the Republican-lead Department of Education.

There's no federally-mandated textbooks, no federally mandated curriculum, nothing. Common Core isn't responsible for such worksheets. The only thing that can be credited to the federal government is federally-mandated testing (which has been given flexibility in execution, by the way) and that is through Race to the Top. This is not Common Core. Race to the Top merely endorses the content standards (which are relatively harmless, and quite frankly, ineffective) and offers funds for its adoption. This means if you accept the funds, you get Common Core and the flexible testing mechanism.

Where on God's green earth do you get your information?

Either would be disastrous.

Par for the course.

The American masses are political and macroeconomic ignoramuses.

Which is bad enough...but they are arrogant as well - which means they have no idea how ignorant they really are.

A bachelors in Latin Studies.

Obama? Doctor Juris in Law - Harvard.

Romney? Doctor Juris in Law - Harvard & PhD in Business Administration also from Harvard.

Jeb Bush: An undergraduate degree in Latin studies; ie he learned Spanish.

wrong-Mitt has an MBA from the Harvard School of Business

there is not much correlation between education and presidential success.

Since I'm not American, I don't have to care about domestic stuff.

I like that Hillary appropriately identified Russia as a similar threat to the West as Germany was in 1938. Many others seem to think this comparison is hysteric. I don't think so.

Option 3. Jon Huntsman.

I saw him once and I liked him. A reasonable Republican. I didn't think they existed. Probably make a decent President. Never going to get past the wing nuts who now control the Repuke party.

Can you name anyone of prominence who thinks that way?

The problem is he has zero chance of getting the nomination.

Why don't you tell us how you actually feel.

I believe I stated as such. I will go with Hillary, I think she can be one tough @$#@%. Besides how great will it be to have Bill as first "man"? I can only imagine who he will be shtupping over that time period.

19-18 favoe of Jeb Bush...........the other votes are non votes.........Its very easy to go outside of DP and vote anonymously over and over again.
