Third party isn't a cop out. In fact in another Bush vs. Clinton race, it's the only choice that actually makes sense.

    .
Nah, Hillary's from Chicago. I'm sure Bill had his choice of one toothed cousins in Arkansas if he so chose.

Compare this poll to the Romney vs Clinton poll and you see the large scale opposition to another BUSH as president. This negative does not exist with Romney. All those who voted for Romney before would vote for him again. And polling that has been done shows many regret having voted for Obama rather than Romney. Romney also has the "I told you so" advantage.

Jeb Bush is the Washington DC, money and war-hawk neocon choice on the Republican side. So there is a huge push for him. The radio conservative talking heads have always bashed Jeb Bush. However, they are now presenting Jeb Bush as the lesser of evils. This is not a strong candidate with the public.

Secondly, Jeb has now announce his "exploratory" committee, which means show me the money - so he's a lock for the nomination and the next President of the United States.
Jeb Bush will run because win or lose he wins. Establishment and big money will back him because if he were the nominee for the general election they already won no matter whether it is Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush. Big money, the war machinery, Wall Street and DC insiders would prefer Bush or Clinton, but Clinton somewhat has an independence streak. Jeb Bush is a big government, big money neocon insider.

He is not a lock on the nomination and is the weakest candidate Republicans could run in the general election. But it is a gamble the Bush machine is willing to take because even losing the general election - or even the primary - is a win for Jeb Bush.

    It's rather a scary choice, nepotism A, Nepotism B.

Jeb Bush is the strongest candidate the Republicans could run - he'll be the only adult in the room when the debates start and he gets out on the hustings and starts campaigning. Those who don't know him or his immediate family or his time as Governor in Florida are just fixated on his last name. That will change. He's a very confident, well spoken, even tempered and personable man and that will work to his benefit when the running starts.

I understand he was out helping several of the candidates in the 2014 mid-terms and was well received and helped the candidates he appeared with and supported. That's also a good sign and very important when it comes to getting support in the primaries. People in state primaries remember when a national figure takes the time to support their guy and they return that favour.

And as I've said before, Jeb Bush's immediate family, his Hispanic wife and mixed race children, are very much modern day America and will be seen as such. And don't forget, for all the complaining from the left, GW Bush was the only most recent Republican to crack the 40% mark in Hispanic voter support because of his Texas ties and Jeb's Florida ties will give him that same boost.

Jeb Bush will be the next President of the United States.
