Luftwaffe is a generic German term for an air force. It was also the official name for the Nazi air force founded in 1935. Led by Hermann Goering, it became the largest and most powerful in Europe by the start of World War Two.

But I am sure you knew that..

It just sounds cool if you're wondering why I chose this name.

German is fun language, and luftwaffe is a fun word.

I was going to do a USAF themed profile but the problem was that luftwaffe sounded way cooler than USAF or Air force.

Twixie if you think you're the first person to inquire about my name you're far from being correct.

There is certainly a constant though among all the people who have inquired about my name (with just one singular exception).

They were debating with me on something before and have exhausted all intelligible responses, IOW they became desperate to simply throw some **** at the wall to see if it sticks.

america has long been socialist, subsidizing for profit companies for the "common good," social security (this one should be a giveaway), medicare, national debt of trillions

like it or not, this is an interdependent world and it's easy to have holier than thou attitude when you've not had to make a living yourself ever, and i'm guessing never fished up a meal either

a couple of problems with that ideal

people arent equal

they arent the same

where you might take 3 hours to do a job, another guy might need 6 hours to complete the exact same task

is he worth the same as you are?

some people are smarter....more educated and able to do more than others

should a brain surgeon be paid equally with a ditch digger?

capitalism recognizes these differences......

you can get as much as someone is willing to pay you........

Bard Pitt earns more on one movie, than 100 people will earn in a lifetime

is that fair? is that right?

i say sure......and more power to him.......

Hilarious.

None of those things are indicative of socialism, they are indicative of a mixed market.

Socialism the people control the means of production.

To my knowledge no country has ever been truly socialist. The USSR, Russia, China, nam, nor any other you would mention ever were. They were/are Stalinist. Big difference.

No one ever said anything about paying everyone the same. I said it sets up a equal system that pays people fairly for their work. Obviously this means you pay people different wages for different skill levels and jobs. You would not wind up with extremely wealthy people getting paid the most for little to no work. That will always be a result of a capitalist system.

Basically you got all that backwards.

Capitalism does not recognize these differences because their will always be people who own a majority of the resources and do little to no work.

Socialism does recognize these differences because it would stop people from getting paid the most to do no work.

Socialism would also ensure a minimum standard of living for those that do make the lowest wages, or are disabled or otherwise unable to work. Something that capitalism has never done.

losers who are mad that they aren't doing well in the current system

and power hungry jerks who want to become richer and more powerful pandering to the first group
