I promise that almost all of the problems have absolutely nothing to do with the color of his skin. But has a president ever been so disrespected since day 1 (since before day one actually)? It also doesn't remove me from society and from where I work, where I have personally heard people call him the n-word and personally heard them say they'd hang him, etc.

Can you not admit that there is a decent portion of the population that is still harboring racism - and that includes people in Congress?

And who would have thought there would be so many blatant bigots on the liberal side of the spectrum who are so intellectually and ideologically vacant that they must label legitimate policy disagreement as a racial attack. These empty minded individuals have truly added to the increased tensions that can be found today.

Yup, his predecessor. And you wouldn't believe the things people said about Nixon, before, during and after.

Do I think there are racists in congress? Do you mean the guilty white liberal type or the old style KKK type? And calling him the N word as a descriptor doesn't mean someone is racist, Chris Rock explains what the word means.

Bush had one of the highest approval ratings of all time early in his presidency and I don't think you can find members of the other party saying their only goal was to make him fail. And who gives a **** about or defends Nixon?

I think you're right in some ways. I am sure if you are a black person who has felt the effects of institutional racism your whole life, a piece of you is hoping when a black person is elected president that things would improve.

It doesn't really work that way, though.

Well, liberals certainly don't make it tough for white males. Their excuses just underscore how tough they make it for themselves. Envy is really just an indicator of known, by feared, psychological failure.

I was more referencing the intellectual capacity liberals expose when they surrender to their shortcomings by inventing racist motivations behind legitimate disagreement.

First, are you really that young that you don't remember the eight years of the last President Bush? It wasn't that long ago. You'd have to have been living under a rock to not hear what the libs said daily about him, insults on a very personal level.

The only place I have ever heard anyone call Obama that was on TV and read it here. But then it was mostly someone telling us over and over again how someone they knew called Obama this.

I live in modern Oregon and my friends are mostly my generation when we were taught that there was no difference between colors except for the color, that we were all Americans. As you probably don't know since you're so young, before the stupid multiculturalism and PC bull****.

Well that must be nice. You must live in a pretty good area with educated people, because I think most people in this country have heard someone call him that on a regular basis.

As I said they were a commodity..there were not any ''slave sales'' or any ''slave auctions''..because the poor people in England were virtually slaves themselves..

When they were no longer able to work or ill..they went into the ''workhouse''

I don't think anyone over here could afford a black slave..

So I guess education allows people to separate the uninformed people spreading racist lies, from the informed people who know disagreement over policy is not based on color of skin. No wonder the uninformed work so hard to keep people thinking just like them.
