I mean how can anyone blame young men of my generation honestly? Logically everyone knows religion is untrue. Most men are rational.

-All the women worth having in the looks department are on the mainstream "big yard, big house, two kids and we're going to church on Sundays or at least saying we do" grape vine.

You're either going to play along to put a smile on their face or you're going to settle for less attractive women, it's that simple. The ironic part is they're not even that religious. They just like the idea of being religious but with women they can't admit this as most men can. They wear their emotions and ideology on their sleeve.
    1. You might want to move to a more sophisticated community.
    2. Are the Christian women really more attractive, or are they just more willing to conform to mainstream standards for makeup and clothing etc? You might want to reconsider what you consider attractive, especially for a long time partner. Many seemingly attractive women only look good because they are good at the cosmetics and clothing game, but they won't age well. When women are older, clothing and makeup can only go so far.

If a woman decides to be with a man based off her judgement about that man, who are you to judge her as an independent woman that she "was conned"? That sounds extremely degrading to your faith in women if you ask me. Perhaps you might want to check your claimed respect of your fellow women.
No one, and I don't. I judge you for lying to her to get in her pants, as I said.

    Who said anything about lying?

I'm a Christian officially. I wear a cross necklace and say god in sentences now and then.

If a grown woman has made a decision to be with someone I think you should respect that adults decision and not demean her. Women are smart and you should respect their choices.

You don't think it would matter to her that you don't actually believe, if her belief you're Christian was a major factor in her deciding to be with you? You're full of crap.

I respect their choices. I don't respect your lies.

As if systemic privilege does not exist for Christians as well as whites.

Hell! I've spent basically my entire life in the "Bible Belt" of the American Southeast, where Catholics are a minority, and not a particularly well liked one at that.

1: Eh, I did and it was the same. The attractive women are still religious, just in a more upper class way with more upper class values. Again, I can attest that most good looking American women are religious and expect you to be as well.

2: Yes, they are. You have to see it through the correct prism though and not an emotional one. They're better looking because they're part of the "In-Club" of socioeconomic America. It actually makes sense if you think about it for awhile. If you were a gorgeous young women, wouldn't you want the most eligible man you knew you could attain? Absolutely you would. How would you do that? The answer is clear. Be in the strongest, most viable socioeconomic club in your country, whatever that is. In America, that's being a Christian. So that's exactly where they are. It isn't rocket science, it's actually really really simple and base.

He may wind up finding another dishonest atheist and they can live happily ever after. They'll probably be one of those many parents that force their kids to go to Sunday school/church every week but attend only on holidays themselves.

    You didn't answer the question.

What specific advantage does it confer, Eco?

    Victim card.
Are you going to deny the historic and cultural animosity which has traditionally existed between Catholics and Protestants, particularly in the American "Bible Belt?"

In the more sophisticated cities, like NYC, LA and SF, church goers are not the most eligible, upscale people. In those places, most church goers are immigrants or poor minorities.

You misunderstand, it's not about specific advantage, it's about systemic privilege. You need to understand that concept before you can begin to discuss what others are talking about.
