I think this action, and several other "leaks" which have occurred, are there to help prevent an "outrage" over whatever the grand jury decides. By doing things like this, it is a suggestion there will not be an indictment against the officer. Preparing people for an outcome will always elicit a less emotional response than catching them by surprise.

I think Governor Nixon is doing the best he can to make sure the peace will be kept. To anyone who disagrees, I seriously wonder what you think should be done differently.

It really depends on what the protesters choose to do.

    Greetings, apdst.

WTH do those companies have to do with Michael Brown case? As usual, they will cut off their nose to spite their face, then whine about how unfairly they are treated! Unbelievable!

I don't know but I'd love to see Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and other go to Ferguson and call for calm and civility regardless of the grand jury decision, emphasizing what made MLK and the Civil Rights movement great and effective was its non-violent and peaceful character. People need to be reminded, by their behavior the civil rights protesters were portrayed as the civilized human beings while by their behavior the racist segregationists looked like savages. Burning down businesses, throwing rocks at the police and rioting benefits no one.

The protest has been taken over by communists and black nationalists. Michael Brown doesn't have anything to with Michael Brown, anymore.
