Rapist. I did hear an interview of one of the victims though, and she was claiming that her children and the rest of her family suffered gravely as a result. I'm pretty sure she included the family dog as a victim too. Looking for a larger than life cash settlement isn't pretty either.
I didn't say that. I said this: "Rapist. I did hear an interview of one of the victims though, and she was claiming that her children and the rest of her family suffered gravely as a result. I'm pretty sure she included the family dog as a victim too. Looking for a larger than life cash settlement isn't pretty either."
You saw "conservative" and decided it would be cute to put words in my mouth because your words are something you'd like to make points on to enhance your credibility with the nutty. Good news there. You have.
I loved Cosby - his public persona was one I admired when I was growing up, his humor was one that I related to going all the way back to the Cosby Kids animated show to the "Himself" comedy to his later life speaking out about the black community. But now that's gone - I gave the man every benefit of the doubt I could, I thought this may just be retribution for his positions on issues, but I can no longer ignore what is now evident. He's a rapist. His legacy, his work, everything he's done is shattered and now he will go into history as someone to forget instead of someone to admire. I don't know if I should be sad or angry but my God what horrible way to live the last years of his life. I think it's just tragedy all around.
“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.
Every bit as much as Roman Polanski. However, I don't believe punitive monies should ever be awarded to rape victims.
Roberts wrote: "If you are among the many Americans -- of whatever sexual orientation -- who favor expanding same-sex marriage, by all means celebrate today's decision. ... But do not celebrate the Constitution. It had nothing to do with it."
