In a literal sense, "...it depends on the opponent" is the correct answer, as all things are relative. But, this question is intended to explore the man's stature in the political world in general, and how it has fallen and/or survived.

    Let's see...the plurality of 2012 was about 5%.

This last election was a mixture and mid term, but a quick look at the issues says he would have a very serious problem. If, as political scientists are saying that this was a vote of objection, that voters are fed up with the stalemate in congress and are blaming the Democrats not the Republicans.

I would say, knowing what we do now as a result of that vote, Obama is much more vulnerable. Voters are not buying his act anymore, they don't believe him.

That's hard to overcome and easy to feed.

Yes, if the folks permitted that level of ignoring our constitution then he would be a shoe in.

No, he wouldn't win. He disappointed a lot of his base. He didn't do anything to ingratiate himself to Republicans. He barely beat Romney. Next time would be a disaster unless he ran against some lunatic, which knowing the GOP is entirely possible.

I could see it now... "Hey, Obama's vulnerable. We can get Michele Bachmann in the White House!"

Que up an Obama third term.

It would be really tough for him at this point. It's going to be even tougher for his successor. Whoever the nominee is, they'll be running to try to keep their distance from him without his political talent to make it work. Hillary Clinton is going to be looking a lot like Allison Lundergan Grimes. "DId I vote for Obama? Ummmmmmm."

I say maybe. If the republicans are retarded enough to prop up another John McCain, Mitt Romney, Bush or some other RINO then Obama will win hands down.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    "could he win"
yes he definitely could until the right provides an opponent that would be bigger and get more support.

Yeah, almost as stupid as the republican voters who believe they are voting for freedom and small government.
