"He who does not think himself worth saving from poverty and ignorance by his own efforts, will hardly be thought worth the efforts of anybody else." -- Frederick Douglass, Self-Made Men (1872)
George HW Bush. I think he was the smartest of the bunch, although I don't know much about P (the young one). HW had an impressive record of service in this country.
Jeb seemed to be a good governor.
Horse sense is the thing a horse has which keeps it from betting on people. ~W.C. Fields
None of the above.
I was too young when George H.W. Bush was president to have much of an idea of what he was like. George W. Bush was a mediocre president at best. I haven't paid much attention to Jeb Bush, because I don't live in Florida. George P. Bush isn't enough of a public figure that I'd have paid attention to him.
If you build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day.
If you set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Gotta say Dubya. He seems like a real guy, not a polished politician. Also, I know quite a few Marines who have met him to include the former crew chief for Marine One and all of them said he was one of the warmest, funniest, and kindest men they'd met.
Mr. Speaker, I once again find myself compelled to vote against the annual budget resolution for a very simple reason: it makes government bigger. ― Ron Paul
Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty. Thomas Jefferson
H.W. wasn't horrible. I don't agree with his politics but he didn't tear apart our country the way his oldest son did. I like Jeb better than his brother but not as much as his dad. It is too early to tell on P yet.
