Last time I went to the polls I had to wait 2.5 hours to vote, so I voted absentee this time. The only things I didn't vote for were the uncontested candidates, and a couple local offices that I didn't feel like I could make an informed decision about.

Yes, of course..straight Democratic ticket, yes on Homestead exemptions for military and veteran widows. Polling place is a 18 mile roundtrip and it was raining.

Yes, I did, as soon as I got off work. The polling place is just about 1/4 mile up the highway from me, and when I got there, it was slow. Apparently, a good many people in this state use their driver's license to vote, rather than voter registration cards. Word is, they are going to phase voter registration cards out in this state.

I always vote early. Congrats to Texas Governor Elect Greg Abbott.

Has it been called? I have been very busy this evening, and haven't had a chance to check on any Texas polling results.

Nope. Didn't vote and won't vote. I don't believe in voting for the lesser of two evils and voting for myself or some other random individual that I don't know seems rather stupid. The only time I will vote is when there is someone out there that is actually going to be good for the country. Otherwise they can all kiss my ......
