I agree. I would also counter them and make the claim that the real war on women is really being conducted by the liberals themselves. Women have equality now. Arguing about oppression, or whatever, is counter-productive and hurts the cause of women. By demeaning stay at home mothers the feminists are contradicting their entire philosophy.

Who benefits when people are ignorant, poor, dependent, and entitled? The left, thats who. This is just one example.

As the video highlighted the wage gap IS complicated.

Of course the reasons behind women being less likely to go into STEM fields and being less likely to ask for raises is also complicated. While it certainly getting better, young girls were much more likely to be dissuaded by parents and educators from going into STEM fields. Comments like, "Sweety, don't play in the dirt, you will get your dress dirty" add up and they DO have an effect on the woman the girl grows into. Likewise, girls are more likely to be raised to be more quiet and submissive. So yeah, they are going to be less likely to be assertive and ask for raises. It isn't some grand conspiracy, it is just the influence of our society.

I do think all of that is getting much better, though, and educators are more likely nowadays to encourage girls when they show an interest in STEM subjects.

On the abortion point I vehemently disagree with his premise. Abortion isn't the killing of unborn children. Children have minds. And it is an insult to actual children to put them on the same rung as a mindless mass of tissue. The two sides just don't agree what makes a person a person.

I certainly don't think Hillary Clinton would make a good President, though.

So if women "winning the war on women" means things are improving for women then yes, I think women are winning. Good.

Most whole heartily agreed.

And thats JUST how the left likes it.

Most certainly agreed.

You know, I'm really getting tired of these leftists and their activities. I see no good coming from it, other than the conservatives continuously defending against it, and gaining strength and resilience by doing so. Maybe they are doing society a favor by doing so?

The war on women plays into the last 50+ years of feminist propaganda in order to energize the feminist movement and get their votes. I
t is well know that women are the majority of the voters and that they are easily persueded by this type of propaganda.

The right-wing evangelicals who would like to get the government off of Wall Street's back and into every American bedroom have been pushing women to the left for a long time.

The "Mommy wars" are always demeaning, when you think about it. But I must state that women have made gains in legal equality (and even then one could have serious qualms with suggesting that legal equality has been accomplished), but not necessarily social equality. The social component is one part in which ideology is granted control. It is on this plane that oppression also is seen as existing. As such, attempts to address this fall within the realm of "social justice," if you will.

Says the fan of putting the govt into the birth control freebies business. Do you ever stop and read before you hit post?

I'm a woman, and I actually detest the Democrats for thinking all I care about is birth control and abortion, and for also thinking I'm too stupid to perform at the highest level and therefore I need crap like Affirmative Action and "Equal Pay for work" nonsense to take care of me. I also detest that they think I'm too stupid to take care of my own kids - no, it doesn't take a village to raise my kids. It takes me and my husband being good, smart parents.

We need more women on the Right out there tearing apart this Demo attack and setting them out for lying, and intentional deception.

Hey MMC, luckily there are a lot of women who are now saying "WTF are you talking about? What 'war on women'"? IMO it's a bigger insult to women coming from the Dems to say this kind of crap. It shows how little they think of women.

Yeah.....I really Like Katie Pavlich. She is young and knows what she is talking about. We need more out there.....I am tired of listening to men frame the debate the way they want to have it. I would rather see a woman who knows what it is to be a woman. Sounding off on facts and what is the truth. To always hammer home how much deception comes from the Democrats.

Each and every time a Progressive or Liberal opens their mouth on the issue.

The continuing GOP war on anyone who dares to utter the words "war on women" has of course been aided and abetted by the most effective arm of the GOP--FOX. Their wealth, depth, viewership and influence are a sight to respect and the Priebus/Rove axis now runs/ruins this Nation .
