I'd prefer to call the episode "Gath's sexist, racist and homophobic BS session", if it's all the same to you.

And you are making some kind of bizarre conglomeration of a straw man argument, red herring, and attempt at poisoning the well all rolled into one in order to cover for your lack of an actual counter argument.

I'm sure that this surprises absolutely no one.

Young adults and young males are not the same thing.
Young adult, males. Don't be dense, Eco. You know full well what I meant.

Now you are dividing a generational contribution to a culture by sex and calling each a distinct culture in and of itself?

Again, this isn't exactly controversial stuff here, Eco.

Look, when you learn what culture and ethnicity mean, let me know.
    Ditto.

    Such a victim.
    Cheers.

What's really funny about the whole thing is that I voted "yes" to the poll and spent time explaining that in my first post. And apparently, no one wants to talk about the way in which men most frequently get harassed. My guess is because it doesn't make Gath a victim.

No, not really. Certain people in this thread simply happen to be obsessed with trying to apply the "victim" label to anyone with an opinion they dislike, as they imagine that it will, in essence, "shame" them into silence and submission.

I have no shame, so, unfortunately for them, this clearly did not work.

Seeing as how there are no male homosexuals here, your particular tangent simply didn't really "take off" either, so to speak.

In any case, my ultimate position on this matter is the same as Roguenuke's. There are no "victims" here, other than those who allow themselves to be "victimized" in the first place.

The whole thing is much ado about nothing.

The only people I think are victims are the ones who wind up dead. I'm not patronizing enough to apply it to people wholesale. But you just want the title so bad.

So because no gay people have shown up in this thread, that means the issue is not worth talking about? Ok.

I would certainly say that there are people in this thread who are positively chomping at the bit to misapply it.

If you want to talk about it, talk about it.

It's no skin off my nose. That's simply not the direction the conversation took.

You have Eco to thank for that, I'm afraid.

I tried, in at least 2 or 3 posts directed at you. You ignored it and talked about yourself and minorities.
