Republicans. I'm mentally preparing for a replay of early 2009 after the Presidential election of 2016 is through.

Quite obviously, you're supposed to vote for Tillis because otherwise you will lose recognition as the home state of said actor.

I'll vote for Thom Tillis but I never really felt like the state would suffer without that actors willingness to promote North Carolina. Kinda weird.

Well one thing is for sure that we learned from the primary season: nothing is a done deal until all the votes have been cast. Who would have thought that Dave Brat would have gone from polling at 39 percent just before primaries and end up ousting Cantor. I'm not sold that this will be the case, but high voter turnouts in highly contested states such as Alaska, Colorado, Iowa, Georgia, Kentucky, New Hampshire, and North Carolina could be difference makers one way or the other. I'm not banking on the GOP taking the Senate, because the Dems have shown time and time again their ability to get people out to vote is something quite incredible these past few years.
