Other than those who are mentally incompetent as a result of genetics, it is precisely due to the choices those individuals have made that brings them to that place. Btw, the Devil did not make you do it.

This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

I don't understand why local governments would hinder private organizations from feeding the homeless or anyone else who might be having a hard time like a senior citizen on a limited income and plagued with unforeseen medical costs and can't simply afford to buy enough food. It's not coming out of the government's pockets to feed these folks. But these local governments seem to be getting away with it through new regulations by either restricting public land, new food safety regulations and attempted relocation of some of these soup kitchens. Here a pdf report from the National Coalition for the Homeless. There you will find a map of all the cities involved in regulating these soup kitchens out of existence. Calilfornia and Florida seem to be the biggest culprits.

Too late for the guy about to board the saucer. Hmm, cookbook, saucer, sort of goes together. Every so often they have a 24 or 48 hour marathon on the Sci-fi channel showing old Twilight Zone episodes. Well, they use to before Sci-fi went to more of this idiotic reality shows.

Right. What if we provided some kind of real help to these people, many of whom are traumatized vets or abandoned teens?

Oh, right, that would involve human empathy.
Where's the tipping point? At what point does empathy begin to do them no favors?
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

The reason they passed these laws is because it embarrasses politicians when they feed the homeless in front of City Hall.

One in 45 children experience homelessness in America each year. That's over 1.6 million children.
Damn those selfish a-hole children. Making choices like that.
