no vote for me because i think the answer is BOTH

those nutjobs have never hurt conservatism for me because it would be dumb and dishonest to jude conservatism based on its nutters.

But there are lots of people out there that do get turned off and do judge based on the nutters or squeaky wheels or what gets the most exposure. Thats unfortunate and part of the problem.

there are millions of "conservatives" that support equal rights/SSM just like there are millions of "lefties" that support gun rights

judging either whole on its parts is silly and the reason why im an independant who often gets labeled by those that cant defend thier own statements.

If its a equal rates or abortion thread i get called a lefty if its a guns rights, military or finance thread i get called a righty etc

THe best part is as soon as that happens the made themselves lose

Not complete non-sense, a progressive didn't write it.

Should an actual human being not understand it and requests clarification, I will be happy to explain it to them. If a lefty don't understand it, then that means it was an intelligent comment.

It makes me sick seeing someone go around acting as if their religion somehow makes them conservative. IN my experience religious people of all walks are some of the most non-conservative lifestyle people you'd ever meet yet then they put a cross on and "walla" they're ready to supposedly judge on others.

-How are you more conservative than me because you wear religious jewelry? (They're actually serious)

-How are you more conservative than me because you wear a certain attire? (Again, they're actually serious)

-Do you truly believe that you can't be conservative and non religious? What do you think conservatives did before the fantasies (religions) were adopted?
I tend to believe that flauntingly extreme anything hurts whatever their side/cause may be, so yes.
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.
