Elizabeth Warren is known to be an opponent of awarding special privileges to corporations through the government. However, she supports the Export-Import bank, which largely serves to provide special privileges to corporations.

Is she a hypocrite?
 
Yeah, I'm afraid she is. Not just because of the Export-Import bank either. She had alot of promise but she made a big mistake running major party...now the only way for her to stay relevant is to jump through the hoops her corporate sponsors hold up. She would have been better off running Green Party IMO.

You realize Clinton was the source of most of the "deregulation " that led to the Crisis becoming so systemic.

Is she in this situation? Yes. And I saw this coming, and I disagree with here 100% on this. However she is still the most progressive member in the Democratic Party and for that I will support most of her work and disagree with her when she pulls stunts like these.

The export-import bank serves to help small businesses survive in Illinois and our common-sense GOPs know it.
The premise of this OP is a false-equivalency lie supported by extreme TEA-partiers like Norquist .

Boehner has always supported export/import until now--when he wants to get reelected Speaker.
Can't wait until Paul Ryan takes over Ways and Means and straightens out DC on both sides of the aisle .

I'll listen to the small businessmen in Illinois who are GOPs and want the export/import bank.
Problem is, they keep voting against their interests and they know it.

Especially my friends who are GOP small businessmen being ****ed by the Elites and TEAts in their own party.
I'm a serious poster and listen to both sides--try it some time .

The economics of it can be debated in another thread, but the fact is it is a slush fund for corporations. Some say farm subsidies or manufacturing tariffs help the economy, however they are still corporate welfare. I would argue that the Ex-Im bank is based on the economic fallacy of the seen and the unseen.

Yesterday they were for an Obola czar--today they aren't--and not just because of who was appointed.

I really don't have an opinion about Ex-Im one way or the other. My only interest here is the personal dishonesty of Fauxcahontas.
