The manner in which the economy should be influenced. Progressives believe-and Warren has stated-that corporations should not receive special privileges from government.

progressives didn't support aid to companies that produce solar panels? Obama's stimulus bill?
 
NIMBY, if you believe fascism is a good economic model, fine. The point is acknowledging what it is, and then comparing it with Warren's statements to find out whether she is a hypocrite or not.

If they do, they aren't holding true to the principle of not giving corporations special privileges. So hypocrisy exists.

BTW, what's this crap about "giving corporations special priviliges"? AFAIK, the IEB guarantees loans. Since when is a loan guarantee a "special privilige"?

These loan guarantees are being based on political connections and non-economic criteria, not market forces.
 
Warren is a populist ringleader. Multinational corporations have to be on the top of her **** list. Political gotcha aside, it's nice to see one of the most staunch Progressives support the Ex-Im.

And Obama's new " Ebola Czar " had a substantial hand in it.

But lets be honest.

That was more than " support". It was Liberals wasting Billions on pushing technology that hadn't been vetted yet, and could be produced at a fraction of the cost in China.

Progressives can't " support " something they don't comprehend.

Like Capital ventures in a free market economy.

Not the solar panels in my congressional district, on the farm of extremely conservative farmers.
My GOP Congressman Kinzinger wouldn't say yes, due to TEApressures--but he knew better than to block it .

Because I think you're equating your ignorance on a variety of issues to being " lied " to.

Its a bit paranoid of you to go around and assume everyone is lying to you.

So why don't you just stop being so lazy and do a bit of research. It will help your paranoia. You'll feel better.
