Warren is a liberal. Liberals believe the govt should influence the economy. The IEB influences the economy

So where's the hypocrisy?

The manner in which the economy should be influenced. Progressives believe-and Warren has stated-that corporations should not receive special privileges from government.

The economics of it can be debated in another thread
No--it will be debated here because of thius comment by you that debate the very beconomics you just said couldn't be debated:
but the fact is it is a slush fund for corporations.
silly nonsense to call it a slush fund--you'd be the first to bash Obama if these corporations left the USA.
Some say farm subsidies or manufacturing tariffs help the economy, however they are still corporate welfare.
GOP double-talk since dozens of GOP House members receive secret farm, subsidies.
I would argue that the Ex-Im bank is based on the economic fallacy of the seen and the unseen.
And I would say you are clearly wrong based on the RL small GOP businessmen I know .

Really???

progressives didn't support aid to companies that produce solar panels? Obama's stimulus bill?

NIMBY, if you believe fascism is a good economic model, fine. The point is acknowledging what it is, and then comparing it with Warren's statements to find out whether she is a hypocrite or not.

Really???

If they do, they aren't holding true to the principle of not giving corporations special privileges. So hypocrisy exists.

Like I said, some people are confused as to whether or not the liberals support govt involvement in the economy.

BTW, what's this crap about "giving corporations special priviliges"? AFAIK, the IEB guarantees loans. Since when is a loan guarantee a "special privilige"?

Still not true.

These loan guarantees are being based on political connections and non-economic criteria, not market forces.

Warren is a populist ringleader. Multinational corporations have to be on the top of her **** list. Political gotcha aside, it's nice to see one of the most staunch Progressives support the Ex-Im.

Really???

Man was THAT a mistake.

And Obama's new " Ebola Czar " had a substantial hand in it.

But lets be honest.

That was more than " support". It was Liberals wasting Billions on pushing technology that hadn't been vetted yet, and could be produced at a fraction of the cost in China.

Progressives can't " support " something they don't comprehend.

Like Capital ventures in a free market economy.

And TEAgovernor Perry, host to the E--bol--a epidemic in the USA, took his nine billion and balanced his budget .

Really???

progressives didn't support aid to companies that produce solar panels? Obama's stimulus bill?

Man was THAT a mistake.
Not the solar panels in my congressional district, on the farm of extremely conservative farmers.
My GOP Congressman Kinzinger wouldn't say yes, due to TEApressures--but he knew better than to block it .

And Obama's new " Ebola Czar " had a substantial hand in it.
You mean the same "Ebola Czar" you guys wanted yesterday but don't want today.

But lets be honest.

That would be a welcome change from you .

Yer now reduced to quoting Kamikaze Kruz--given this name by the Conservative GOP newspaper Wall Street Journal . :lamo:lamo

The value in the article is in the compilation of the sources cited.

Whatever faults Cruz has, at least he can write coherently.

Solyndra......your'e new " Ebola Czar " was neck deep in that Progressive waste of American tax dollars.

You mean the same "Ebola Czar" you guys wanted yesterday but don't want today.

You guys ?

We already HAD a " Ebola Czar " so why would I want Obama to appoint a Political hack to spin some BS narrative ?

Typical Obama, puts Politics above all. Even the safety and security of the American citizens.

How'd that go?

Please let me know exactly where I've been dishonest.

Because I think you're equating your ignorance on a variety of issues to being " lied " to.

Its a bit paranoid of you to go around and assume everyone is lying to you.

So why don't you just stop being so lazy and do a bit of research. It will help your paranoia. You'll feel better.

Excellent. The solar energy sector is one of the fastest growing industries in the US

Thanks for asking

A friend of mine has a son who is working toward a PhD, and wants to work in solar cell technology.
