Those 2 and Cruz are the only ones I believe are not RINOs and that's whats needed. If the Republicans run the likes of a Christie, Bush, Romney or a Huntsman I will set it out, becasue I want no part of it. Ive essentially had it with this party and im giving them ONE more chance or im done with them.
Ill likely vote for whomever wins the primary in the general election, but as far as the primary goes ill take paul and carson.

No matter how rino they are, beats having a liberal.

    Scott Brown

At this point i am leaning Paul or Carson

I like the idea of a president that has done something other than politics. I also share many of the same positions of paul and carson. Not all, but i dont miss the forest for the trees. I would support any of the above candidates tho if they won the primary.

    What say you
I would consider voting for Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Scott Brown, or Paul Ryan. Possibly Marco Rubio. I would not vote for Paul. I would never vote for Cruz or Carson, I don't think either is qualified to be President. Especially not Carson. If either of them were the nominee I'd actively support Hillary Clinton.

Paul and carson have held jobs other than politics

How does that matter? Almost all of the candidates have held jobs other than political office.

Paul ryan has been in congress since his 20s, prior to that he worked in politics. I like him but he is very much an establishment guy.

True enough christie was a long time us attorney but that is a political appointment. Not to mention he has been entrenched in politics since he was young.

Rubio has also been a politician his whole adult life

Brown is another who has held a job outside politics

The reason i believe its important is the insight they bring. They are better prepared to address the economic concerns of people who pay the salaries if government rather than spending their whole lives in elected office.

Again, i wouldnt lose any sleep if most of them were nominated. But i specifically like paul and carson

Re: Who would you vote for in a republican primary?

Ron Paul or Gary Johnson (yes, I realize neither is running for the Reps).

Rand Paul is a poor facsimile of his father.

So basically, all the candidates that seem to be running suck, imo...and some suck more then others.

If I had to choose one of the above, I would choose Rand Paul...grudgingly.

Btw, all the Dem candidates suck as well, imo.

I've never bought the argument that an 'outsider' is on its own a good thing. I think Rand Paul has an atrocious perspective on foreign policy and that Carson is ludicrously unqualified due to his beliefs and pandering to the Breitbart-osphere.
