Fox News Poll: Voters reveal which state they want kicked out of the union

Not true actually... the people were herded like cattle.

Stock market collapse (a deliberate event); ensuing depression (also deliberate); make the people suffer, then offer them salvation. It's not that complicated, and it is straight out of Alinski/Gramsci 101, before Gramsci ever wrote his Prison Notebooks.

Since democracy is the most effective way to destroy a solidly founded republic like America, the people were then slowly indoctrinated into accepting and believing in democracy - something that is completely antithetical to liberty, yet they think it is synonymous with liberty - now how can that be?? Of course that can only happen by way of indoctrination.

"The people" did not make an informed choice - b/c no rational, informed person would choose to live in a democracy if they truly understood history and governmental systems.

no rational person likes being called sheep.

every republic is strengthened by having a Tiberius Grachus willing to represent the people.

and this is who i am referring to.
Tiberius Gracchus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

i refuse to surrender my ability to decide who goes to washington as the states senator and leave the electoral fate of the country in the hands of state legislators who do not represent me.

the senate is not supposed to represent you, they are mean to represent the states, the house represents the people, not the senate.

then the key to maintaining a democracy is education.

or is that a privilege as well.

they key is to get rid of demcracy as a FORM..AND ......FORM of government.

and return to a republican form, with an ELEMENT of democracy in it representing the people

where would the states be without the people?

the purpose of the senate in the hands of the states, is to place a check on federal power.

with the states no longer having a voice in the senate, this has allowed the federal government to usurp powers of the states, because the states cannot stop that power crab...because they cannot block legislation which does it.

And there's a huge difference between representing one's home state and representing one's political party.

corruption is going to exist, it is not going away, it will always be with us, however since i must have corruption as part of the political process, i want it closer to the people.

government which is closer to the people is easier to control by the people, and easier to correct problems when things go wrong.

Ever heard of sillicon valley?

Yes I have but it's not with in the city or county limits of San Francisco.

Silicon Valley is more associated with San Jose because it's just north of San Jose.

The Silicon Valley is not considered to be part of the "Gay Bay."

This demonstrates pretty well a major difference between conservative and liberal ideology. Liberalism is inclusive. It wants to make the country better for everyone. Conservatism is all about who is or isn't a "real" American and wants to deny the benefits of the country to those they deem unworthy. It's exclusive. Liberals wouldn't want to kick anyone out of the country. We want everyone to thrive. That's why we don't punish the south despite it being a huge drain on the rest of the country by taking in much more tax money than it produces while northern liberal states pay much more in taxes than they take in. Conservatives want the whole place to themselves, and it's hilarious to see that since they'd wither without us.

California for me.

Hey. What did California do to you?

Seriously what's up with the California hate-age in this thread? California is a huge source of revenue and food for the country, and brings you all that good stuff you like to watch at the end of a hard day. Also I live there, so you should totally appreciate this fine state.

I'm jealous because it has better weather than New Hampshire....and Sean Connery spends a good part of his year there, and if he's not with me, I resent the people who he's near.

But because it's the location of Casa de Cardinal, I'll change my vote to Massachusetts.

Neither is San Francisco, anymore. Most of the large US cities have gay districts that are as big as SF's, if not bigger.

They are easy to spot with the gay crosswalks.

So, most people advocate for a particular state based on their own individual biases. :doh God help us all.

Live here and find out the end game of unopposed liberalism. Its run this state into the ground.

Im a Californian and I'd vote California. This place is just a liberal fruitopia vote machine.

And yet there's something effective enough about our great state that attracted you to it over all 49 others, or at least has the compelling qualities to retain you. Explain why you're either wrong or illogical.

he said " more people"... not " a higher rate "

California, in terms of total people on welfare/food stamps.. leads the nation by far..... (not more than all other states combined, though.)

about 47 million folks are on food stamps... 10% of that number comes entirely from California.

And California has more than 10% of the U.S. population.

My parents moved here when I was young, and until Ive finished paying my bills, I will stay. THAT wont be long, and when I do-even though many states dont pay as well as here-when you factor in income tax (-12%) and cost of living (-25% when corrected) , Im going to be living la vida loca. Im already in the 92nd percentile at age 33, but im tired of paying for failed liberal policies. Its china town here.

I do really like SD though.

Have you considered moving to Bakersfield? It's entirely possible that there's literally not one liberal there.
