US loosing several tech giants, and their HQ? Seriously? You cant think of all the things that could go wrong with this?

A country not committed to the freedom of all men is trash. Those not committed to the cause of freedom are enemies and should be seen as such.
 
I vote to oust Rhode Island. That way we could keep the USA the same size.

They were the first of the thirteen colonies to declare independence from British rule. Maybe they'd be up for claiming independence from US rule.

Lets see here the tech giants led to jobs, tax revenue, development, economic growth, helping of local businesses, manufacturing... Lets see if California was voted out of the union, the US just lost all of that. And what makes you think that all those tech companies would say "oh naa we gotta stay with the US of A"?

Again, tech giants do not just stay inside a states borders nor does the technology they develop. Furthermore, tech giants have a tendency to move their headquarters from time to time like any other large business.

Well... my country left me, I never left the country.

I want to live in freedom - sadly, Amerikans want nothing to do with freedom. They've been indoctrinated to accept authoritarian, lawless government - they think as long as they are voting for it, it's okay... well, some of us are no okay with living under authoritarian rule.

America fought a revolution for liberty over much less than is happening today.

Yeaaaa... Why would they move? Google and many other tech giants have been in San Fran since pretty much their founding..

Revolutions need money to get off the ground.

If you had enough money to support another revolution, would you really spend it for that purpose? Or would you spend it on your own personal "freedom?"

California has the same population and somewhat smaller GDP than Canada.

Please kick her out. They will immediately vote to join Canada, who will then kick out all the illegals and their families, bring in universal health care, and likely shut down wind farms, as one or two of our hydro generators will do the job. We will, of course, take everyone's guns away and replace them with the sheet music for Kumbaya.

We will then send in fifth columns to Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Once successful, Canada will have complete control of shipping off the West Coast save the relatively undeveloped west coast of Mexico, and we will control 90% of the resources of the continent. We will also have complete sovereignty of the North and will have increased the population by two and a bit, doubled the economy, taken control of the world's softwood and high tech industries along with having control of every Asian built auto shipped into North America. We will also have added two more NHL teams and complete control of the motion picture industry.

They will have universal medical care, really, really fabulous drinking water and really, really cool colored money made out of plastic that does not fold, fade or even decompose.

We will be gentle.

Please hurry this up, I look forward to sun tanning in San Diego without having to have crossed a border.
