Who's Responsible for ISIS?

Who's more at fault?

Is the rise of ISIS more of Bush's fault for invading Iraq, or more of Obama's for pulling out, then disregarding the countries direction?

There's a thousand years of hostility among Muslims, the last hundred years of occupation, and most recently an invasion and subsequent withdrawal. There is no easy answer to the question.

First it needs to be asked whether if keeping US troops in Iraq would have prevented the rise of ISIS as a menace.

Our country never learns from our mistakes and keeps up the same rhetorical nonsense. They were saying on FOX today that Hong Kong protestors should keep it up, till they get democracy. I thought, how stupid can you be to keep giving the same self righteous advice that hasn't worked anywhere in the ME?

The Chinese WILL kill them all, still the lesson smacks you in the face-capitalism works, communism shoots people to prevent them from leaving.

I think its Muhammad's fault. But you cant excuse those who chose to use his stone age ramblings to justify their murderous acts.

The polling in this thread is indicative of the fact that because people only recently heard of the Islamic State (ISIS) that it must only recently have come into existence, and therefore must be Obama's fault. The Islamic State has certainly been a beneficiary of Obama's policies, but they have a much earlier beginning and took advantage of the prior administrations policies in the ME, too.

ISIS is responsible for ISIS... radical Islam is responsible.

It is the fault of collective American foreign policy since WW2
