Theirs other oil fields their, I'm sure Saddam had decent sized reserves for us to loot, and yea it would be interesting to know who was shipping it...

I bet haliburton subsidiary's could be one... They upped their stock by 500% with Iraq...

I found this interesting (although sorta unrelated) Iraq is suing a Greek company for shipping oil outtakes their Kurdish region the Greek company would be a good bet... Honestly its probably hard to find nowadays but IMA look...

I see you misunderstood me. I wasn't accusing president Assad of supporting the Islamic State. I was ridiculing Obama having made the claim. President Assad is another that used containment when it came to terrorists. It's due to intervention from a couple of Arab States and the US that has strengthened terrorists in Syria and weakened Assad.

You could say that, if you wanted to distort the thing. Had Assad not begun to shoot at demonstrators, there would have been no civil war and no disintegration of statehood.

They burnt the BAATH party headquarters and the courthouse, and what were the four student protesters at Kent State shot for?

You're right. Kent State demonstrates the difference between democracy and dectatorship quite well.

Dead is dead, whether it be four or a quarter of a million. And you see no difference. Why doesn't that surprise me?
