No, I don't, but then again I don't trust any American politician, regardless of party, to do a good job. Nobody in this country has the balls to do what needs to be done because doing so would be political suicide and all anyone cares about is getting re-elected.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

Oh hell no. Seems that he's falling into the same LBJ / Vietnam trap running the conflict from the White House.

He's already limited and limiting his options by declaring what he won't do. Foolish and self-defeating tactic.
The smarter position / tactic is that 'everything's on the table', and make the opponent guess what he needs to defend against.

    No leader he.

I was thinking the same thing.

But if we did send Obama to fight ISIS, he'd probably loose. I don't think he has a lot of military training and he lifts sissy weights.

We really don't have a choice...we are stuck with Obama for the next two years and something has to be done.........The problem is when it comes to foreign policy either Obama does not care or is clueless on the issue.

Mostly this question is aimed at those who want our country to fight ISIS. Because I noticed many neocon scum in the media saying Obama should do something,Obama should fight ISIS or some other nonsense are the same ones who mock his ability to lead militarily. If this guy is such a poor leader then why on earth do they want that man getting us involved in another war? Do these people think he has General Patton or some other great general on ice ready to thawed? Is there a really great "How to Fight Wars for Dummies" book somewhere?
One has to ask, what would the conservatives demand? What would they do if they were in charge? Besides, whatever Obama does, right or wrong, will be condemned by the Right anyway.

IMO Obama's not doing badly. Instead of riding in cowboy-style with all our vast armed might, he first got NATO to join in the fight, and he's earnestly trying to get the Arab nations to take the lead on the ground...because he realizes that we cannot win a war there. The best we can hope for is that the guys who are our friends (or at least who are the least unfriendly) win, and so we do our best to help them win.

Nothing about Obama's reccord strikes me as being one who is good at handling military affairs. I also question his ability to do things to get the job done instead of half-attempted tactics aimed at appeasing Americans as "we are doing something."

Yes I do. I know that he has come to terms with how important it is for our own security so just like he got Ben Laden, I trust him to really jam up this ISIS nonsense. I think his critics; of which I am one, are too quick to judge him on these decisions because armed conflict is a very fluid thing, and what you said yesterday may not be true today. Moreover, you don't want to telegraph your punches, particulalry in this day and age. Secrecy can be very difficult.

I have to disagree with you here.

I don't really think Obama gives a rat's ass about our country's security. For him, it's all political. It's all, "What should I do so people don't just totally hate me and all Democrats."

I do agree, though, that he never should tell the world what he will or will not do. All he had to do was say, "ISIS...we are going to destroy you." That's all. And then he should tell his Generals to produce a plan to do just that.
