Make your prediction, referendum is tomorrow. The time is upon the UK.

Will Scotland stay or will it go?

Wanna bet money? Fine by me.

If you think none of these you can opt to say "ALL HAIL WILLIAM WALLACE" since I forgot to put that option.

They will probably become independent.

Scotland has a recent history of anti-nuclear, anti-Conservative feeling and the "no" camp could always be painted as evil Westminster representatives. I think it will be a mistake but I think Scotland is going.

I have many Scottish friends too and I rarely see any pro-Union sentiment but it could be like the election of 1992 when everyone publicly said they would vote with the left wing Labour Party and instead voted the Conservatives back in.

I vote and hope not, but there's always the chance that they will become independent.

SIDENOTE

All those looking at the thread you have only one day to vote since these are predictions, vote now or forever hold your peace.

I wonder if Scotland does become independent, will it cause a bank run or domino effect of other successions?

I hope not, and have voted as such. The danger, is the 'passion' is with the YES camp, and as such a sensible head goes astray, more often than not :twocents:

They'll stay. The closest it'd be is 60/40. There's no way Scotland will vote independence from England.

Hot damn, speakin with authority.

Poll is close, 50/50 on both sides, 5 votes to 5

AAARREEE YOU READY TO REFFEERRAANNDDDUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!

It's a toss up. I think it will pass if the bankers aren't able to influence the vote through illegal and dastardly means.

I haven't voted in the poll because it's just too close to call. 52-48% for 'no' in the last polls with 14% claiming to be undecided. You'd have to be a gambling addict to put money on the outcome. My guess is that 'no' will win by a tiny margin, but I'm not staking anything on it. At. All.

Awwwww, no vote then?

You can always be a cool cat and say "ALL HAIL WILLIAM WALLACE" ;)

Then you still vote without voting yes or no.

Why would I hail a monumental failure like Wallace? He couldn't even keep his own countrymen on-side, never mind defeat the English.

SERIOUSLY

Eh, it's just supposed to be the third option that never got implemented.

brits are just mad that scottish have better teeth ;)

Err.. Brits = Scots as well.. so you are basically saying that the Scottish are mad because the Scottish have better teeth.

Since Im not in Scotland and the polls are practically dead even how in the hell should I know... :2razz:

I do hope Scotland votes for independence- the world needs to start moving away from cyclopean states and huge governments.

The polls are saying it's mighty close.

While I'm not a Scottish citizen, I say YES.

Let Scotland succeed, or fail, on their own merits. I believe they can succeed.

Soar Alba!
