Did you not understand my point? Apparently not? I pointed out passages in the Bible that exist, yet could be taken out of context and made to make Christian look barbaric, unless you understood the Bible. (No one takes the Bible seriously anymore?... ... I won't "crucify" you over that absurd statement... I will let that go as its not my point.... It is also almost 3,500 years old, parts of it, anyway)
Apparently you do not understand the Quran, but nonetheless chose to take something out of context (because you have no understanding) Sorry, but by your own apparent admission here, you don't know what you are talking about, but chose to talk anyway. That is quintessential ignorance.
Go find out exactly what the Quran says and, more importantly, the context in which it says it and then talk. Until then, sit humbly.
The root of most wars is hate; the root of most hate is ignorance. Don't be ignorant.
It's beyond question that many Muslim jihadists believe the Koran not only sanctions but requires the violence against unbelievers they engage in. Parts of it and parts of the hadiths are their inspiration. The fact that most Muslims in the world are not violent does not show that Islam teaches nonviolence. It could well be that they are just not very observant, like a large percentage of people who consider themselves Christians.
