A 290-pound person is not little, he might be short, but he's not little.

Yeah, I don't entirely agree with the term, but it's the term chosen by Little People.

This is a simple question. I hear it stated, but don't see the stories that
back it up. So you could answer true, false or I don't care.

Is it true the White House sent no one to General Harold Greene's
Arlington service? And yet this same white house sent 3 employees
to the thug's funeral in Ferguson?

I heard the very same thing. That's baaaad man. Real bad. Nobody from the president's office should have gone to that punk's funeral.

Just stupid

I would think "little person" would be an insult. But it's white liberals today who decide what words we are allowed to use and not use.

The Little People decided. Midget is a derogatory term with insinuations they want nothing to do with. Do you still call Inuits Eskimos?

Referring to a people as they refer to themselves, and not inventing a name for them based on prejudice, is basic human decency.

How about the Nipponese aka Nips. The PC term is Japanese. Have you ever been to Nippon ?

Didn't Chuck Hagel go?

What are the odds that CalGun continues to use the news source that fed him the easily refutable misinformation he used when he started this thread?

I so dislike it when (White) people use the word "thug" to characterize a Black male. It's like you "I can't use the word 'Nigga', so I'll call him a 'thug' instead and stand behind the use of that word because of the unacceptable social behavior he exhibited".

I could get past this if White people would call a White kid a thug when such a person conducts himself in much the same way as the thug-label is clearly attributed to Black teen/adult males, but the use of this word is so one-sided. You can't tell me it's "the conduct of the person's character" that gives authority to using this label only against Blacks.

As to the poll question, SecDef Gen. Chuck Hagel did attend Gen. Harold Green's funeral.

Chuck Hagel isn't from the Obama White House.
He works in the Pentagon.

Somebody needs to brush up on the Presidential Cabinet Appointments.

Pretty sure General Odierno works for the president as the Army Chief of Staff. Ray Odierno is part of the presidents National Security Team

Also, secretary Chuck Hagel is a cabinet member of Obama which also someone who works for the president.

Both of these heavy weights far outweigh the importance of 2 people working at the white house office of public engagement and Broderick Johnson, chairman of the My Brother's Keeper Task Force. I think sending him was a very good idea, to prevent more young people from misbehaving.

Who are the high-ranking officials who attended Brown's funeral?

Somebody needs to brush up on the Presidential Cabinet Appointments.

You are right, Apacherat needs to do that.

The Cabinet

The tradition of the Cabinet dates back to the beginnings of the Presidency itself. Established in Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution, the Cabinet's role is to advise the President on any subject he may require relating to the duties of each member's respective office.

The Cabinet includes the Vice President and the heads of 15 executive departments — the Secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Labor, State, Transportation, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs, as well as the Attorney General.

In order of succession to the Presidency:

Vice President of the United States
Joseph R. Biden

Department of State
Secretary John Kerry
U.S. Department of State

Department of the Treasury
Secretary Jack Lew
U.S. Department of the Treasury

Department of Defense
Secretary Chuck Hagel

How many times do people like the OP have to be blatantly shown their fantastic failings to make them reconsider their positions?

I mean, seriously.

snopes.com: Funeral of Major General Harold Greene

If Snopes says it's false, it has to be false.

We all know a housewife who's not even an American citizen knows more about the difference between the White House and the Pentagon.

This was Snopes sources, all from the internet. One has to wonder if West Hills, Ca. even has phone service ?

Somebody needs to brush up on the Presidential Cabinet Appointments.

Someone needs to brush up on the military chain of command and what the responsibilities are of each person who's in that chain of command.

Are you aware that the Joint Chiefs of Staff are no longer part of the U.S. military chain of command ? They haven't been since the passage of the Goldwater-Nichols Act in 1986.

There were only three individuals with in the chain of command before you got to Gen. Harold Green. The CnC Obama, Chuck Hagel and then Gen Mattis. Oh wait a second, that's right, Obama fired/purged Gen. Mattis and replaced him with Gen. Austin I believe, a damn good yes man.

So exactly where was Obama when Gen. Green was buried ? Playing golf ?

If President Obama as CnC were have attended Gen. Green's burial services that would have been a news story.

Who's really surprised that Obama didn't attend General Green's burial but sent three White House officials to attend a thugs funeral ?

I'm not surprised, it was expected.

Obama don't like the U.S. military and those who serve. Obama doesn't like what the U.S. military stands for and that's why he's been changing the military, using it for liberal social engineering.

Obama never once, I mean not once ever mentioned winning the war in Afghanistan. All Obama has done was force PC ROE on our troops in Afghanistan that favored the enemy and caused Americans to bleed and die.

As former Secretary of Defense Gates said he couldn't believe that Obama never had any intention of winning the war in Afghanistan and that Obama didn't consider the war in Afghanistan to be his war.

Well at least Chuck Hagel carried out his responsibilities as second in the chain of command and attended the General's funeral.

White House sending 3 officials to Michael Brown's funeral

The officials attending the funeral are Broderick Johnson, who leads the White House's My Brother's Keeper Task Force. He'll be joined by Marlon Marshall, a St. Louis native who attended high school with Brown's mother, and Heather Foster. Both Marshall and Foster are part of the White House Office of Public Engagement.

Oh, the perfidy.

What the heck is wrong with the Washington Post?

The Washington Post helped put Obama in the White House and they have no choice but to protect their boy in the White House hoping maybe Obama might actually get something right.
