The Kurds (especially Erbil) desire an alliance with Washington thankfully. =)

I voted yes, but who's going to grant it to them? We don't have the authority to do it.
I have CDO, it's like OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be.

I think people in northern Iraq should be allowed to hunt Muslims for sport without repercussion.

I have been among the Kurds. They are among the most pro-American people in the region.

I'm discussing pro-Kurd policies, and those are not necessarily what's good for the USA, but what is good for Kurds. They can still be pro American and do business with Syria, Russia, and Iran. Nothing mutually exclusive about what is good for one's Nation.

They would likely seek links to the US specifically to protect themselves from those neighbors.

I recall things went well the last time World Powers carved up national borders in the Middle East.

Because we know the Kurds can't do it alone.

I don't recall any of those neighbors attacking anybody. The USA, on the other hand, has bombed many of the Kurds MidEast neighbors. I must be naive because it looks like the USA is the destabilizing threat unless you deal them your OIL, don't you think.

The reason there hasn't been a Kurdistan is because it was carved up among Iran, Iraq and Turkey.

    And who did that carving?
