    It has long been my opinion that Islam is in it's own version of "middle ages", and the only reason they get the 'respect' they do is oil. If they have no oil, they get much less attention.     The thing is there is oil, and as of now we are still dependent on it. I'd like nothing more than to pretend the ME does not exist-but they do.
